‘Days of Our Lives’ Speculation: Ava Starts Poisoning Rafe Thanks to the Nicole Situation
Many fans of Days of Our Lives don’t like the Ava-Rafe-Nicole love triangle. But things may be going to a whole new level. This week’s speculation focuses on how devious Ava may be becoming in order to “get even” with her perceived rival.

On ‘Days of Our Lives,’ Nicole and Rafe were getting too close for comfort
According to Soaps @ SheKnows, recent Days of Our Lives episodes have shown Nicole and Rafe getting too close for comfort. Ava became so frustrated with the Rafe situation that she confided in Steve — who told Ava that she needed to chill out just a little.
But Nicole realized that she needed to throw the brakes on things. “Nicole suggests they stop hanging out to make Ava feel better. Rafe doesn’t like that idea but Nicole believes he and Ava are good for each other and suggests they see where they could go. Rafe gets riled up at the thought of cutting her out of his life,” the outlet reported. “Nicole tears up. She will miss him but she can’t see him for a while. It’s best this way. After more failed pushback, Rafe reluctantly agrees. Nicole says it’s just for now. They hug, as Ava stares through the window.”
Of course, Ava read way too much into that goodbye hug.
Nicole is willing to end things to save Rafe — no matter what her reasons are
Previous Days of Our Lives speculation suggested that Nicole would end her friendship with Rafe. But, there was some suggestion that Nicole’s motives weren’t as altruistic as she claimed to Rafe when they met earlier this week.
“Nicole’s reasoning for ending her friendship has to do with the feelings between her and Rafe that continue to grow. This may be her last-ditch effort to stay as “just friends,” reported the speculation.
Alas, on Days of Our Lives, the best-laid plans always seem to go awry. So, will Nicole’s efforts to remain “just friends” work?
But is Ava going to get even with Rafe for the betrayal?
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, upcoming Days of Our Lives episodes will reveal that Ava is poisoning Rafe to get even with him over the Nicole situation. How do we know that Ava is poisoning Rafe? Because a recent episode revealed that Duke the bear began “talking” to Rafe.
“Frustrated from arguing about his love life, Rafe viciously attacked the stuffed animal. Perhaps this was a one-time-only incident. However, the soap has dropped clues that this could happen again and with increased intensity. What’s wrong with Rafe and will he survive?” asked the outlet.
This is speculation, of course. But all of the signs point to Ava declaring war on the man she allegedly loves for breaking her heart. We’ll have to tune in to Days of Our Lives’ upcoming episodes to see how far Ava really goes in her quest for vengeance.
