‘Days of Our Lives’ Speculation: Rafe Tries to Calm Ava Down — But She Explodes Instead
The drama on Days of Our Lives reaches a fever pitch in the coming weeks. The Rafe-Ava-Nicole triangle is getting weirder by the minute. But a lot of the drama was completely avoidable. That’s probably why Rafe’s efforts to calm Ava down only result in a huge drama explosion.

On ‘Days of Our Lives,’ Rafe and Nicole are getting too close for comfort
Recent Days of Our Lives episodes have featured Rafe comforting Nicole through some pretty dark times.
Sure, Nicole is in her feelings about her messy divorce. And Rafe has been very comforting to her. In many ways, he’s acted like her best friend.
That would be a good thing — if they didn’t get into bed together. The problem is, in a recent Days episode, Rafe and Nicole hopped into bed together. And even though they didn’t do anything but cuddle and eat ice cream, it was wildly inappropriate. No wife would be happy knowing her husband was in bed with another woman — especially not a wife like Ava.
Ava finally has had enough
Celeb Dirty Laundry teases that upcoming Days of Our Lives episodes will feature Ava finally having enough of the Rafe and Nicole nonsense.
At one point, she screams at him, “will you just admit that you want to sleep with Nicole?”
Rafe, of course, swears it isn’t true, but it’s pretty clear that he’s battling intense feelings for Nicole. Would he sleep with her if he knew he could? Probably. But that said, he’s still got Ava to contend with — and trying to calm her down will have the opposite intended effect.
When Rafe tries to calm her down, he inadvertently triggers her meltdown
No woman in history has ever calmed down by being told to calm down. And on Days of Our Lives, SoapHub teases that Rafe is going to find this out the hard way. Telling Ava to calm down about Nicole isn’t going to make her calm down. In fact, it does the exact opposite. The outlet teases that she’s going to go into full meltdown mode, and to be fair, her meltdown isn’t entirely unjustified.
Nicole, for her part, will be forced to rethink her relationship with Rafe. How does she feel about him, though? Is he getting the wrong idea — or are they more than just friends? And as for Ava, how far will she go in her “meltdown”? Will someone end up hurt — or worse?
Days of Our Lives is certainly bringing the drama in the coming weeks.
