‘Days of Our Lives’ Weekly Recap: TR Coates Was Put in His Place
Days of Our Lives fans love a good man. And, this week, we found out that Lani sure does have herself a good one. TR Coates has been causing drama from the minute he touched down in Salem, but Eli Grant isn’t having his mess. And TR found out, the hard way, that he got the right one on the wrong day.

On ‘Days of Our Lives,’ TR Coates made some trouble — as usual
The more time goes on, the more Paulina’s claims about TR Coates being a terrible, evil man are proving to be correct. TR knows that he can provoke people to bring out the worst elements of themselves, and he has no problem doing it to get what he wants. What did Paulina ever see in this man, anyway?
Regardless, SoapHub reveals that the Feb. 23 episode of Days of Our Lives featured madness and mayhem. Eli came back from his solo vacation to find his family in shambles. Paulina’s having a stroke, Lani’s stressed out, and all because of TR Coates.
Even Abe Carver got in the middle of it. Sweet Abe! How evil do you have to be to get Sweet Abe Carver mad? Pretty evil, we’d say.
Eli Grant put him in his place
Well, Eli Grant isn’t a man to take that mess sitting down. Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that on the Feb. 23 episode of Days of Our Lives, he went over to find TR Coates and let him know how he was really playing with fire. Never mess with a man’s family, TR! Especially not that man’s family.
“Eli flashed his badge upon arrival and let TR know he meant business,” reports the outlet. “TR referred to himself as Eli’s father-in-law, but Eli corrected him since Abe Carver (James Reynolds) was his father-in-law and one of the best men he knew. Eli made it clear that if TR messed with any of the Price women, then TR would answer to him.”
Yes, Eli! That’s right! Get’em, Officer! Still, Abe and Paulina shared a few tender moments as a result of this brouhaha, so maybe there’s hope for those two crazy kids after all.
Meanwhile, elsewhere in Salem
As was previously teased, next week’s episodes of Days of Our Lives will feature a special appearance by Johnny, aka “Jo-Devil.” Ben and Ciara will be the first ones to sniff him out, but as Soaps.com reports, they won’t be able to stop him from causing drama in Tripp and Allie’s lives.
Will you please let these kids get married, Johnny?
“Tripp finally proposes to Allie, but her evil twin, and we do mean evil, crashes the moment,” reports the outlet. “JoDevil asks if Allie ever told Tripp that she slept with his wife. Make that soon-to-be-ex-wife as Chanel served him with papers. Tripp was aware of their past and that they shared a kiss, but not that it went any further.”
Expect more drama and mess from next week’s Days of Our Lives.
