DC FanDome Trailer Drops New Footage of ‘The Batman’ and ‘Black Adam’
If you were excited for DC FanDome 2021 before, then you definitely should be now. DC Comics recently released a new trailer for their upcoming convention on Twitter. It features new footage from The Batman trailer, Black Adam, and other DC movies and television shows. And if this one-minute trailer was only a tease of what’s to come for DC FanDome 2021, then fans are in for quite a treat.
What is DC FanDome?
DC FanDome is a virtual event created by Warner Bros. in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The first DC FanDome premiered in 2020 after many conventions were canceled, like San Diego Comic-Con, due to the pandemic. Twenty-two million people in 220 countries experienced DC FanDome 2020, making it an immediate success. Since it was so popular, Warner Bros. decided to do it again.
Warner Bros. CEO and chairman Ann Sarnoff said, “This year, we’re taking everything that people loved about DC FanDome and supercharging it to super-serve fans with even more exclusive first-looks, breaking news, in-depth interviews, and insight from the stars and creative teams of their favorite DC content.”
The 2021 convention will feature trailers, interviews, breaking news, and behind-the-scenes looks at many upcoming movies and television shows. These include Batwoman, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash (both the film and the TV show), Supergirl, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, The Batman, Black Adam, Peacemaker, and more. The stars featured at the convention include Candice Patton, Dwayne Johnson, Ezra Miller, Grant Gustin, James Gunn, Jason Momoa, Javicia Leslie, John Cena, Melissa Benoist, Pierce Brosnan, Robert Pattinson, Tyler Hoechlin, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Zoe Kravitz, and more.

DC Comics drops new trailer with a sneak peek at the upcoming virtual convention
DC Comics recently released a new trailer for DC FanDome 2021. It features a sneak peek at what’s to come on Oct. 16. There is new footage from The Batman, Black Adam, Peacemaker, Titans, Batwoman, Superman & Lois, and others. There are also teases at the behind-the-scenes videos for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and Shazam! Fury of the Gods that will be shown at the convention.
In addition, many stars appear in the trailer hyping up the event. Robert Pattinson, Dwayne Johnson, Javicia Leslie, Grant Gustin, Zachary Levi, John Cena, Jason Momoa, and others are all featured in the video.
At one point in the video, Ezra Miller, who plays Barry Allen in the DC Extended Universe, says, “It’s going to blow people’s heads off.” Whether Miller was talking about DC FanDome 2021 or The Flash doesn’t matter. Both are going to be epic, and we are more than ready for next Saturday.
