Dean Unglert Admits the ‘Bachelor’ Alum He ‘Had a Crush’ on Before Caelynn Miller-Keyes
Dean Unglert went on the most recent season of Bachelor in Paradise without the intention of leaving with a girlfriend. He was living in his van and actively attempting to avoid the press and parties that typically come along with being a member of Bachelor Nation.
Then he met Caelynn Miller-Keyes. At first, he told her he wasn’t looking to be a boyfriend for the above reasons. But as fans know, after he left her broken-hearted on the beach by breaking up with her on her birthday and leaving the show, he eventually came back for her. The two exited Paradise hand in hand and have been together ever since. They’re currently sheltering in place in Miller-Keyes’ apartment in Los Angeles.

But before Miller-Keyes, Unglert had a crush on another former Bachelor star.
On the May 26 episode of his podcast, Help! I Suck at Dating, Jared Haibon asked Unglert to name a member of Bachelor Nation he’d DMed in a flirtatious manner.
“That’s just asking for me to get in trouble with my girlfriend! I think before I had gone on Paradise for the second time, I might have slid into Andi Dorfman’s DMs. Or maybe just asked Amanda Stanton to introduce me to her, I can’t remember. I think it’s the latter, not the former,” he said. “I don’t think I ever actually officially slid, but there was a point where I had a crush on her.”
Unglert said nothing ever came of the little crush. He just thought Dorfman was “cute” at the time. He didn’t even know she’d been the bachelorette.
“I think that Amanda Stanton posted a picture with her and I was like, ‘Oh, that girl is cute.’ Then I clicked on her page and I was like, ‘Oh, that girl used to be the bachelorette.’ And that was basically the end of that,” he said. “So thank you guys for getting me in trouble, I can’t wait to [not] hear the end of this.”

Then, Unglert and Haibon played a game of “block on Instagram, marry, and Netflix and chill.” Haibon presented Unglert with Dorfman, Kaitlyn Bristowe, and Hannah Ann Sluss.
“I would block Hannah Ann, I would marry Andi, and I would Netflix and chill with Kaitlyn. There,” he said.
Unglert was originally asked about Lesley Murphy, Kristina Schulman, and Caila Quinn, but he refused to answer because the first two options hit a little too close to home.
