Demi Moore Says Ashton Kutcher Tried To Justify His Affair in the Worst Way Possible
During Demi Moore’s marriage to Ashton Kutcher, the actor cheated on her with a few different women. And as much as this crushed Moore, she was determined to make their marriage work. Unfortunately, Kutcher already had one foot out the door and seemed to sabotage their relationship purposefully. And according to the Ghost actor, Kutcher tried to justify his cheating scandals in the worst way possible.
Ashton Kutcher slowly began to distance himself from Demi Moore
Things couldn’t be better for Kutcher and Moore during the honeymoon phase of their relationship. In Moore’s recently published memoir, she describes the first couple of years of their courtship as something straight out of a fairytale.
Moore considered Kutcher to be her “soulmate,” as well as “the love of her life.” But sadly, as time passed, the That ‘70s Show actor seemed to lose feelings for her. He slowly began to distance himself from Moore and lied about people not wanting her on the film sets where he was shooting.
At the same time, she admits that she was very needy with Kutcher. Moore even considered herself “addicted” to him, according to Cosmopolitan.
Yet sadly, her daughters felt neglected by Moore because of her co-dependent relationship with the actor.
“I felt very forgotten,” said her youngest daughter, Tallulah. “And I feel like I developed and nurtured a narrative where she didn’t love me, and I truly believed it. I know that she does, 100 percent, but at that moment, you’re hurt.”
Ashton Kutcher tried to justify cheating on Demi Moore in a scummy way
In her new book, Moore reveals that Kutcher would admit to cheating on her. And sadly, he expressed little to no remorse for his actions.
According to her memoir, Kutcher did a terrible job of trying to justify his cheating scandals. Instead of apologizing profusely for hurting Moore, he instead tried to rationalize his behavior.
Because they had a threesome beforehand, he claims that this blurred the lines of their relationship status.
“Because we had brought in a third party into our relationship,” writes Moore, “Ashton said, that blurred the lines and, to some extent, justified what he’s done.”
In her memoir, Moore admits that she wasn’t even comfortable with adding another person to their bedroom, yet she felt obliged to do so because it was Kutcher’s fantasy.
“I was strangely flooded with shame,” she says of their threesomes, “and I couldn’t shake the feeling that this whole thing was somehow my fault.”
Demi Moore thinks her ex-husband purposefully tried to sabotage their relationship
Moore says, “Ashton did not compensate for his behavior by being extra solicitous and kind. In retrospect, I think all of this was his way of trying to get out of our marriage. He didn’t know how to do that in a loving way, or maybe he was too conflicted.”
Heartbreakingly, she adds, “Every one of his actions was saying, please don’t love me. But, unfortunately for both of us, I did.”
