Demon Slayer has quickly become one of the biggest anime around, with its recent film Demon Slayer: Mugen Train grossing more than $503 million worldwide. Its much-anticipated second season officially kicked off on Oct. 10, bringing Tanjiro Kamado and his friends back to the small screen at long last. Demon Slayer Season 2 promises to raise the stakes as Tanjiro searches for a way to turn Nezuko back into a human. When and where can fans watch the new episodes each week?

Demon Slayer Season 2 will be broken into two separate parts, each covering an arc from Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga series. The first seven episodes, which will air through the Fall 2021 anime season, will re-adapt the Mugen Train Arc covered in the recent film.

While some of the content will no doubt overlap, the series will reportedly bring fans an original episode in its new iteration of the arc. Additionally, Crunchyroll reports that the revamped Mugen Train Arc will have new scenes, music, and opening and closing animation. The events that occur won’t likely change, but it sounds worth watching, even for those who have seen the film already.

On Dec. 5, the anime will transition to all-new territory and delve into the manga’s Entertainment District Arc. This will see the Sound Hashira whisking Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu away to Yoshiwara. With women disappearing in the area, the trio will be tasked with finding out what’s happening to them.

When do new episodes of ‘Demon Slayer’ arrive each week?

Season 2 of Demon Slayer promises more action and entertainment from the anime’s core group of characters. If the Mugen Train movie is anything to judge by, it’ll also present higher stakes. The series was always dark, but recent events have highlighted that no one is safe. The new episodes may drive that point home yet again.

Naturally, fans won’t want to miss out on what comes next. So, how can they tune in for Demon Slayer each week?

New episodes of Demon Slayer arrive every Sunday in the U.S., starting on Oct. 10. Their release time will depend on which region you’re in. Per Dual Shockers, here’s when to expect them in the following time zones:

  • Pacific Time: 8:45 a.m.

  • Eastern Time: 11:45 a.m.

It’s likely that the second season will come to Hulu and Netflix at some point as well. However, it doesn’t appear either streamer will get new episodes on the same day they release in Japan.
