Denzel Washington ‘Screamed’ at Diddy and Left a Party After Seeing ‘Something,’ Source Alleged
Hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs currently resides at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, after federal agents arrested him in September 2024. Combs has pleaded not guilty to the charges. The charges include racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Now, a source says Denzel Washington once stormed out of one of Combs’ infamous parties after screaming at the rapper. Here’s what allegedly went down.
Denzel Washington allegedly ‘screamed’ at Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs at one of Combs’ parties
The charges against Sean “Diddy” Combs could put him in jail for life if convicted. As of October 2024, Combs faces even more sexual abuse allegations from 120 accusers. While Combs’ defense maintains that he hasn’t done any criminal activity, all eyes are on the celebrities who attended his infamous parties.
A-listers knew Combs for his “White Parties.” The invite-only events took place at Combs’ place. All guests were expected to abide by the all-white dress code. Photos from past “White Parties” show famous folks like Leonardo DiCaprio, Paris Hilton, the Kardashians, and Ashton Kutcher in attendance.
A source allegedly close to Combs in the early 2000s told Us Weekly that Denzel Washington and his wife attended a party at Combs’ place. According to the source, Washington and Combs got into a spat, resulting in Washington storming out of the event.
“Denzel screamed, ‘You don’t respect anyone,’” the insider alleged. “[Denzel and his wife, Pauletta] had been partying until dawn [with Combs], and they had seen something and stormed out.”
Washington hasn’t publicly commented on Combs’ arrest.
Denzel Washington warned Brandon T. Jackson to ‘leave 30 minutes before the devil gets there’
Denzel Washington hasn’t publicly discussed the allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs. However, he followed sage advice when attending Hollywood parties, which may have saved him from witnessing dangerous activities. Brandon T. Jackson once said in an interview that Washington always said to “leave 30 minutes before the devil” arrives on the scene.
“Denzel always told me — we’d be at the parties, he said, ‘Leave 30 minutes before the devil gets there,'” Jackson said, according to a clip of an interview posted to YouTube. “And he would say that. I will always remember that Denzel would leave the parties early, and I followed Denzel out. I’m out. You see what I’m saying? Because when you leave 30 minutes before the devil gets there, there ain’t nothing wrong with going to the parties. Even Christ partied with the sinners, you know what I mean? But when you leave 30 minutes before the devil gets there, you’re able to have your integrity.”
A former federal prosecutor says celebrities involved in ‘freak-offs’ should be concerned
All eyes are on Sean “Diddy” Combs as his case progresses. His “freak-offs” — drug-fueled sex parties that utilized force and coercion — remain at the center of the federal indictment. Former federal prosecutor Neama Rahmani told the LA Times that celebrities involved in past “freak-offs” have reason to stay concerned.
“If I were a celebrity who participated in one of Combs’ freak-offs, I would be shaking in my boots,” Rahmani said. “At best, they’re a witness in a case that is very likely going to trial. At worst, they’re a co-defendant.”
Currently, no one else has been charged in connection with the “freak-offs.”
