Who is Detroit Lions Running Back Jahmyr Gibbs’ Girlfriend Nicole Anderson?
After playing his college football for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and the Alabama Crimson Tide, running back Jahmyr Gibbs was selected by the Detroit Lions in the first round of the 2023 NFL draft. He made the Pro Bowl his rookie season and again in 2024 when he set a team franchise record for the most touchdowns scored in a single season.
Gibbs is known for his speed which garnered him the nickname “Sonic” from the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series. He represents one-half of the team’s “Sonic and Knuckles” duo with fellow running back David Montgomery. Gibbs’s “Sonic” is a reference to his speed while “Knuckles” is for Montgomery’s power.
In 2024, during a Week 15 matchup against the Buffalo Bills, Montgomery injured the MCL in his left knee. That led to him being sidelined for weeks which meant that Gibbs had to step into a workhorse role until Montgomery returned, and he was certainly up for the challenge.

What Anderson does for a living
Nicole Anderson, who also goes by the name Madisyn, was born on Sept. 5, 2001, in Chicago, Illinois. She is of half-Korean and half-Swedish descent, according to her Instagram.
Anderson attended Millikin University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in social work. After graduation, she began working as a relator and today is a real estate agent for Keller Williams North Shore West.

In addition, she’s done some modeling for Instagram promoting the brands BELLAMI Hair and Hoaka Swimwear.
Anderson also supports Gibbs with her game day looks
Anderson has been dating Gibbs since 2023 when they started popping up in each other’s social media posts. Since then, Anderson has been seen at games cheering her man on and making sure she publicly supports him with custom attire.
Some of her game day looks have included a Lions-themed tracksuit with Gibbs’ name on the front zip-up and “Detroit” on the back of the pants, as well as a long fur black coat with her boyfriend’s name down the back in bright blue letters.
And for the last game of the 2024 regular season against the Minnesota Vikings, Anderson donned a white mesh Lions jersey with a collage of Gibbs’ photos and his No. 26 on the front. She paired it with jeans that featured her beau’s name in white lettering.
She also wore a Sonic the Hedgehog necklace we’ve seen her rock a few times before as a nod to Gibbs’ moniker.

Anderson and Gibbs went viral for a sweet moment between them in Week 16.
Following a game against the Chicago Bears, cameras captured Gibbs searching the stands looking for his girlfriend. After scanning the crowd for a few seconds, he finds her, runs over, and jumps up to her seat where they share a hug and kiss.
