‘Dexter: New Blood’: Does Molly Park Know More About Dexter Than She Lets On?
Molly Park (Jamie Chung) is a new addition to the Dexter: New Blood storyline. She makes her first appearance in “Smoke Signals” and tries to weasel her way into helping the search for Matt Caldwell (Steve M. Robertson). It is then revealed she is a famous crime podcaster looking for clues.
Dexter: New Blood Episode 4 revealed she knows a lot about the Trinity Killer (John Lithgow) and Harrison Morgan’s (Jack Alcott) family. But fans question if Molly secretly knows who Dexter (Michael C. Hall) is and why she keeps it secret.

Harrison listens to Molly’s podcast about his mother’s death in ‘Dexter: New Blood’
In episode 4 of the series, Harrison looks through Molly’s podcast and stumbles upon her story about the Trinity Killer. She narrated the Trinity Killer’s Modus Operandi and his tactics. Harrison fast forwards to the Trinity Killer’s last kill, Rita Morgan (Julie Benz).
In the Dexter: New Blood episode, Molly explains Rita was a beautiful young woman with children and a “picture-perfect family.” She also recounts how Rita was murdered and how her son (Harrison) was found sitting in a pool of her blood. Seeing as Molly is an investigative podcaster, fans wonder if she ever stumbled upon a photo of Rita and her family.
Fans theorize Molly knows more than she is telling
In the original Dexter series, Dexter is married to Rita and tries to live a normal life and be happy. They go on outings and act like a normal family. Any normal family would have had taken photos together. Fans of the revival series believe Molly might know about Dexter or is blatantly oblivious to the truth in Dexter: New Blood.
‘Anyone else finds it hilarious that the podcaster had a picture of Rita on the Trinity Killer episode thumbnail and mentions her picture-perfect family, but doesn’t recognize Dexter?” said one fan on Reddit. “You’d think if she had a picture of Rita and new about her family down to her son being present and covered in blood, and she’s so thorough she’d have seen a picture of Dexter too.”
Other fans expressed simialr ideas. If Molly investigated the Trinity Killer and Rita, she likely found a family photo. “I have a feeling she has, and she’s going to be a problem for Dexter here eventually,” said one fan. Fans will have to wait and see if Molly poses a threat to Dexter or Harrison.
Wil Molly be in danger in ‘Dexter: New Blood’?
Whether or not Molly knows about Dexter’s dark past, she will likely be in danger in the series. If it is true that she is unaware of Dexter’s killer ways, her discovering the truth could pose a problem. If she poses the possibility of telling Angela (Julia Jones), it could lead Dexter to cover up his tracks.
In Dexter: New Blood Episode 4, Molly joins forces with Angela to look for clues about the missing women in town. It is clear that Molly has good investigative skills and is fast to finding the Iron Lake Killer. If Molly gets close enough, the killer will have to silence Molly for good.
