Did An Instagram Leak Prove Offset Is Cheating On Cardi B?
Many celebrities in the modern age have dealt with unwanted internet leaks. However, most of those celebrities aren’t married to Cardi B. When Offset’s Instagram was hacked, the leak allegedly proved he was cheating on Cardi B. Here’s what she had to say about the rumors.
Cardi B and Offset’s rocky relationship
Cardi B and Offset have one of the most famously rocky relationships in hip-hop, if not in music in general. The rappers got married in secret in September 2017, People reports. In December 2018, Cardi B announced she was leaving her husband because he allegedly cheated on her. Many fans expected their relationship to end there. However, the two reconciled and are now together, according to Yahoo!.
Their marriage seems to be facing another obstacle. On Dec. 3, 2019, Offset’s Instagram was hacked. Many of his private messages were made public.
Is Offset flirting with another woman?
According to Complex, the most notable of these message was sent to tekashi69’s girlfriend, Jade. It simply read “Miss u fr.” “Fr” is an abbreviation for “for real.”
Many fans saw the message as flirtatious. Jade did as well. She responded to Offset, saying “You don’t respect her [Cardi B]? Theirs [sic] a lot of shit I have exposed yet, but theirs [sic] a time for that.”
Many of Cardi B’s fans were upset with Offset for supposedly flirting with another woman. They feel Offset continues to mistreat his wife. Cardi B had a different perspective on the message.
Cardi B speaks out
First of all, Cardi B was upset she had to deal with this leak while she was sick. She wrote “We look crazy …don’t mind us y’all we both sick and just woke up …anyways we not going to entertain bullsh*t.”
In a video posted to her Instagram, Cardi B voiced her concern for her husband’s health during this controversy, saying “This guy’s Instagram has been hacked. This boy got a cold, I have like, a very crazy stomachache. I’m about to go to the hospital because I feel like it’s food poisoning…”
To counteract claims Offset was flirting with Jade, Cardi B claimed her husband did not send the message. In the video, she told Offset “Babe, I know you done some dumb sh*t, everybody know he’s done some dumb sh*t, but c’mon, [he] ain’t dumb, [he] ain’t crazy.”
Do Cardi B and Offset have a good marriage?
Cardi B claimed her marriage is in a good place “We’ve been so good, we had a sweet weekend, life has been good. That’s why I ain’t getting no rowdy. Simple as that. Okay, love you guys.”
Cardi B provided no explanation as to who sent the fraudulent message through her husband’s Instagram account. She said Offset didn’t send the message, but she offered no theories as to who did. Perhaps she has no thoughts on the subject, or perhaps she’s trying to protect someone else’s reputation.
The world may never know if Offset actually sent that message. Regardless, he and Cardi B have one of the most iconic marriages in the history of show business. Even when it comes to their personal lives, the two rappers are masters of publicity.
