Then, Grande shocked fans by performing alongside The Weeknd at the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards, once again, missing her butterfly and Pokémon tattoos. Some fans have speculated that Grande could be experimenting with body makeup, using it to cover up her tattoos to attempt a more natural look. However, with Grande herself remaining mum on the subject, it could be awhile before the mystery of her vanishing tattoos is fully explained.
