‘Cheaper by the Dozen,’ ‘Disney Fairy Tale Weddings’ and Other Movies Coming to Disney+ This Valentine’s Day
Love is in the air and Disney+ is on your devices. If you’re getting sick of watching Frozen over and over again, the streaming platform has a few new movies (and episodes of original television shows,) for fans to binge-watch this Valentine’s Day. From Cheaper by the Dozen to Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, here are the movies and series’ that join this platform on Feb. 14, 2020.
‘Cheaper by the Dozen’ will be on Disney’s streaming service this Valentine’s Day
Juggling 12 kids and a new job can be a bit challenging, but the love is strong between this family. Cheaper by the Dozen tells the story of one family as they make the transition to a new house. Some kids are more open to the change than others, but they tackle this challenge, sometimes literally, together.
This movie features actors Steve Martin, Bonnie Hunt, and Hilary Duff. It joins the Disney+ streaming library on Feb. 14, 2020, though there is no word regarding when, or if, Cheaper by the Dozen 2 will be available with a Disney+ subscription. There are also rumors of a Cheaper by the Dozen reboot coming exclusively to Disney+. However, Disney has not made an official announcement. Not yet, anyway.
A new season of ‘Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings’ premieres on Disney+
What’s more romantic than a wedding at Disney World or Disneyland? This television series takes Disney fans behind-the-scenes, showcasing what it’s like to get married at the happiest place on earth. (And yes, it’s just as adorable as you’d want it to be.)
This series first premiered on Freeform, as an original series. For the first time since this platform’s launch date, new episodes of Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings will be available for streaming, premiering on a weekly basis on this service.
Fans can stream ‘Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief’ starting on Feb. 14, 2020
Based on the novel series by Rick Riordan, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief tells the story of the son of the Greek god, Poseidon. Upon learning that a weapon of mass destruction was stolen, he goes on an adventure, with the help of a satyr and a daughter of Athena, to get it back and, ultimately, save the world.
Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief stars Logan Lerman, Alexandra Daddario, and Brandon T. Jackson. The movie joins the Disney+ streaming library on Feb. 14, 2020. However, there’s no word when, or if, the sequel will be available on Disney’s subscription service.
According to an Instagram post from Disney+, other movies joining the platform on Feb. 14, 2020, include My Dog The Thief, Splash, and Because of Winn-Dixie. New episodes of One Day at Disney and Diary of a Future President also premiere on this platform on Fridays.
