‘DJ Pauly D & Vinny’s Vegas Pool Party’; Details About SallyAnn Salsano’s ‘Double Shot at Love’ Spinoff
DJ Pauly D and Vinny Guadganino are at it again. DJ Pauly D and Vinny’s Vegas Pool Party is the next spinoff series featuring the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation roommates. Here’s what we know about the latest Double Shot at Love spinoff reality TV series.
‘Jersey Shore’ cast have spawned several spinoff shows
SallyAnn Salsano knew she struck gold when Jersey Shore Season 1 became a viral success. Her company, 495 Productions, is behind many of the spinoff series starring Jersey Shore roommates.
First, there was the 2012 show The Pauly D Project, which followed Pauly DelVecchio on his journey to become a world-famous DJ. Snooki & JWoww starring fan-favorite roommates Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “JWoww” Farley debuted the same year.
Other 495 Productions projects with the Jersey Shore cast include Double Shot at Love, Revenge Prank with Pauly D and Vinny, and Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. Now, it looks like Salsano is adding another series to the 495 Productions roster.
DJ Pauly D and Vinny Guadagnino to star in ‘Vegas Pool Party’
Working with Salsano once again, DelVecchio and Guadagnino are preparing to bring fans a new show that’s essentially a follow-up to Double Shot at Love. According to the show’s IMDb page, it’s currently in pre-production. DJ Pauly D and Vinny’s Vegas Pool Party will follow the dynamic duo as they “take over Las Vegas and give their friends a shot at the Vegas life.”
“It pays for the cast members who kept up good relationships with the guys after the show!” said a fan on Reddit after season 2 of Double Shot at Love. “Everyone was criticizing them but this show was not about love people. It’s a business!”
Plans for the spinoff were sparked after the first season of Double Shot at Love, which aired in April 2019. Deadline originally announced the new docuseries, slated for a 2020 launch until the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic hit.
Showbiz Cheat Sheet reached out to representation for DelVecchio, Guadagnino, and Salsano to get more information about when fans can expect the new show. DelVecchio’s representative wasn’t able to answer questions regarding the project. Meanwhile, representation for Guadagnino and Salsano did not respond to a request for comment by the time of publication.
‘DJ Pauly D and Vinny’s Vegas Pool Party’ potential cast
Several Double Shot at Love cast members have made it clear they’re ready to do more television with DelVecchio and Guadagnino. “I would love to see [Double Shot at Love] film again,” season 2 star Nicky Curd tweeted in February 2021. “2020 was a hard year & we need some great tv entertainment again! WHO AGREES?!” he added, tagging his former castmates.
The cast of DJ Pauly D and Vinny’s Vegas Pool Party has yet to be revealed. However, considering the plot of the series, fans will likely see some of the Double Shot at Love Season 2 cast return to live and work in Las Vegas.
‘Double Shot at Love’ Season 3 airs Sept. 16 with new cast
It’s unclear when more details regarding DelVecchio and Guadagnino’s upcoming show will become available. But until then, fans can keep themselves entertained with a new season of Double Shot at Love.
Filmed earlier this year in Arizona, Guadagnino will date 20-some women with the hopes of finding “the one” in the new season. With the help of DelVecchio, his girlfriend Nikki Hall, and several Jersey Shore: Family Vacation roommates, the third time might be the charm for Guadagnino in finding a compatible woman.
