Fans who followed the Kardashian family in the early days of their reality show might remember the romance between Rob Kardashian and Adrienne Bailon. The couple dated from 2007 to 2009, but has since broken up.
However, their short-lived relationship is still brought up from time to time, and some fans wonder whether there are any regrets there on Bailon’s end. The Kardashian family has become extremely famous and wealthy after she and Kardashian parted ways, so does Bailon wish she had stuck around or is she completely happy with her life at the moment?
Why did Adrienne Bailon and Rob Kardashian break up?
In 2010, Kardashian admitted on Keeping Up With the Kardashians he and Bailon broke up because he had cheated on her. Kardashian eventually wanted to get back together with Bailon, but she decided to part ways for good.
Several years later, Bailon opened up about the experience on her talk show The Real. She revealed being cheated on was devastating for her self-esteem.
“I will say this, I think anyone who has been in a relationship where they’ve been cheated on or hurt, it affects you,” she said. “With that being said, being cheated on will make you question yourself. ‘Was I not pretty enough? Was I not sexy enough? Am I not thin enough? Do I need to do more crunches?’ I mean, you will drive yourself insane and sadly sometimes the next person pays for what the last person does.”

Although there is no doubt Bailon could have received more fame and exposure if she had stayed with Kardashian, at the end of the day, it does not seem like Bailon regrets her decision to end their relationship.
In fact, she revealed to Us Weekly in 2018 that she would like to be recognized for her own career accomplishments, but her relationship with Kardashian often overshadowed that.
“I was like, ‘Guys, but I’ve accomplished other things,’” the former Cheetah Girls actress shared. “And I think that even got misinterpreted as me saying at some point I wish I had never done the show. I don’t think it was that at all … I just was annoyed that people tried to say that that was the only thing I had accomplished. … So that was a sucky spot in my career.”
Additionally, Bailon is now married to singer-songwriter Israel Houghton, whom she tied the knot with in late 2016.
After her wedding, she told People: “I genuinely just feel so blessed and grateful. I’ve honestly never been happier in my entire life.”

It seems Bailon has clearly moved on from her relationship with Kardashian, though some fans might be wondering about her friendship with the rest of Kardashian’s family. After all, when she was still on KUWTK, it looked like Bailon got along well with Kardashian’s sisters.
It’s not clear how often Bailon and the Kardashian sisters talk to each other, but she and Khloé Kardashian continue to exchange kind words to each other on social media. As such, it can be safe to say there is no bad blood between Bailon on the Kardashian family.
