Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin shocked everyone when they got married in late 2018. The young couple has experienced a lot of ups and downs in their relationship over the years, and has known each other since they were teenagers – but shockingly, they are still together.

However, many fans have started to wonder if their hasty marriage might spell trouble in the near future.

When did Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin start dating?

Bieber and Baldwin’s relationship dates back to 2009 when Bieber’s career was just beginning. The first meeting was pretty casual, as Baldwin was a fan of Bieber’s music and the young pop star was beginning his meteoric rise to fame.

It took a few years for a real friendship to develop, but by 2014, Bieber and Baldwin were hanging out as friends.

In 2015, romantic rumblings first started. Bieber had ended his multi-year, on and off relationship with Selena Gomez and it seemed as though his feelings for Baldwin were really starting to blossom. Although in February 2015, Baldwin claimed that the two were “just friends,” they were photographed kissing by January 2016.

Still, it seems that they only dated for a few months before mysteriously splitting that same year. It wouldn’t take long, however, before the two lovebirds found their way back to each other.

Why did Bieber and Baldwin get married so quickly?

By the spring of 2018, Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin seemed to be back together but taking it slow. They were photographed out and about a number of times throughout the spring and summer months before their relationship underwent a drastic change in July 2018.

Reports indicated that they had gotten engaged and that the two were very happy together. When the young couple confirmed the news on social media, fans were shocked.

Although Bieber and Baldwin didn’t share their wedding plans with the public or press, many assumed that they would wait a while to get married, simply due to their young ages. That was proven false when they got married in a courthouse ceremony in September 2018.

While most were concerned that the quick wedding was an indication of a brief relationship, the two are still together, and according to a recent report, Bieber couldn’t be more thrilled about their decision to get married within a few months of getting engaged.

The report claims that Bieber can’t imagine life without Baldwin and that the two are still, after nearly a year of marriage, in the honeymoon phase of life.

Are Bieber and Baldwin having problems in their marriage?

Clearly, if the reports are anything to be believed, Bieber and Baldwin are still together and better than ever. Despite Bieber’s ongoing struggles with mental health, he remains committed to his wife and to making their relationship work.

In addition, People reported that Bieber and Baldwin could recommit to each other by having a second wedding ceremony in September, this time with all their family and friends around them. They claim that Baldwin is working with a wedding planner and that this larger ceremony is meant to celebrate the one-year anniversary of their first wedding at the courthouse.

While time will tell on whether or not the second wedding ceremony takes place, for now at least, Bieber and Baldwin seem happier than ever and intent on staying together.
