Lady Gaga was born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta in Manhattan, New York, in 1986. Raised by a loving, Italian family, she adopted her stage name when she was just beginning to break into the music industry. Lady Gaga studied music extensively as a teenager, perfecting the singing and songwriting skills that would take her far in life.
In 2005, Lady Gaga began her recording career, working with record producers in New York City. For several years, Lady Gaga worked in the underground club scene as she struggled to really break through to the mainstream music industry.

Lady Gaga is in a new relationship
Lady Gaga has been in relationships almost ever since she became famous. Her longest-lasting relationship was with actor Taylor Kinney, of Chicago Fire fame. The two started dating in 2011 after Kinney co-starred in one of Lady Gaga’s music videos, and they remained together until 2016 before splitting peacefully.
In February 2017, Lady Gaga started dating a talent agent named Christian Carino. They remained together for almost two full years before breaking up in February 2019.
Following her split from Carino, Lady Gaga had a brief relationship with Dan Horton. The two only dated for a couple of months before breaking up in late 2019.
Lady Gaga was able to find love quickly after her breakup with Carino. In December 2019, Lady Gaga began dating a Harvard graduate named Michael Polansky. She hasn’t been shy about showing her love for Polansky, and her Instagram account is full of images of the two of them together.

Lady Gaga recently revealed whether or not she wants children
In a recent interview with InStyle magazine, Lady Gaga admitted that she is looking forward to “being a mom.” While she remained relatively vague regarding when fans could expect her to announce a pregnancy, she did say that it could be within the next decade and stated: “I will say I am very excited to have kids.”
She also mentioned that up next for her would be “marriage” and music, though not necessarily in that order.
