Does North West Look More Like Kim or Kourtney Kardashian?

Before they even got married though, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had their first child: daughter North West, who now is seven years old.

Back in the early 2010s, fans started talking about Kim Kardashian’s new relationship with Kanye West. They had met previously in the early 2000s, but started talking more seriously after Kardashian’s ill-fated wedding to Kris Humphries.

Apparently, the two hit it off the second time they met, and it led to a new relationship, dubbed “Kimye” by their fans.

In 2013, the two had their first daughter. When the couple announced that their baby’s name would be North West, many on the internet made fun of them for this name choice.

However, the jokes died down, and when Kim and Kanye announced their wedding, many were excited for the two. The two married in Florence, Italy; Kim and North even wore matching white Givenchy dresses. Fans were so amazed by this fairytale wedding that they really started rooting for Kim, Kanye, and North.

The Kardashian-West Children

While North West is most likely the most famous of Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West’s children, all four of the Kardashian-West children have been in the public eye. Kim Kardashian West has also spoken about the difficulties she has had in her pregnancies, and how these led her to use the services of a surrogate for her third and fourth pregnancies.

Despite the various medical complications and some issues with surrogates, all four pregnancies ended safely and without tragedy.

After North, the next Kardashian-West child to come along was son Saint, born in late 2015. Their next child was a daughter, named Chicago and born in 2018, and the youngest of the four is Psalm West, born just last year. And while the couple have faced some criticism for certain parenting choices, overall it seems like the children are being raised in a stable environment.

Who does North West look like?

When any couple has a kid, people around them will speculate on which parent the kid looks more like. With the level of fame that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have, this has been intensely amplified. For years now, fans on the internet have argued about whether North West takes more after her mother or her father.

However, Kardashian fans haven’t just argued about which parent North looks like. In a thread Reddit, commenters debated whether North West looked more like her mother or her aunt, Kourtney Kardashian.

One fan speculated that they “think that’s because Kourt looks closer to her original face than Kim does, the two of them were so similar looking!”

Others mentioned that the Kardashians have actually talked about this.

“There was one episode where the girls were watching their old school home videos and Kim comments how much Kourtney reminds her of North. I can’t remember which episode or season though!”

Other fans were less convinced. Many said that North looked most like Kanye, and another said that “It helps to look at some pre-surgery photos of Kim to remind yourself of how much work she got done.”

Overall, it’s pretty clear when you look at her that North West is both a Kardashian and a West. And while she certainly does take after her father, it’s easy to see North West’s ties to the Kardashian family in her face, and in her personality.
