Dorinda Medley Might Be Getting Her Own Bravo Spinoff
Dorinda Medley of The Real Housewives of New York might be getting her own Bravo spinoff.
The new reality series, which is currently in development, will focus on Medley’s Blue Stone Manor estate, according to Deadline, which was first to report the news.
Dorinda Medley’s new show might be similar to ‘Vanderpump Villa’
Medley’s vintage home in Western Massachusetts is already familiar to Bravo fans. Blue Stone Manor has been prominently featured on the network in the past, including on RHONY and The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club.
The proposed show – which does not yet have a title – will reportedly focus on Medley as she mentors a young staff working on the property. The format will be similar to Hulu’s Vanderpump Villa. That show follows RHOBH and Vanderpump Rules star Lisa Vanderpump as she and her staff transform a villa in the French countryside into a luxurious boutique hotel.
Medley previously opened her home to guests in 2021, when she listed it on Airbnb for a limited number of stays while she was promoting her new book. She also created a whiskey, Bluestone Manor Bourbon, inspired by the house.
The ‘RHONY’ alum says Blue Stone Manor is ‘part of who I am’
Blue Stone Manor is an 11,000-square-foot Tudor-style home built in 1902, which is situated on 18 acres in the Berkshires. Medley has owned the home since 2005, when her late husband Richard gave it to her as a wedding present. The Bravo star worked with designer Marshall Watson to restore the home, according to a profile in Architectural Digest. Blue Stone Manor even has its own Instagram account with posts highlighting its striking interiors.
The palatial home is Medley’s pride and joy. It’s also very much a home.
“The best thing about Blue Stone Manor is that it’s not a museum,” Medley told Showbiz Cheat Sheet earlier this year. “I am the host there, and I use all the rooms. It’s not precious. You know a lot of houses that you see on TV are rentals? This home was part of my life before [The Real Housewives of New York]. It has been for many years before and hopefully will be part of my life many years after. It’s a unique thing. It was presented to Bravo as part of who I am. And I love the fact that people associate me with it.”
“I love places where people can go where they feel they can escape. For me, Bluestone Manor is escaping,” she added. “It’s a place for rest, reset, and feeling happy and loved.”
