Now, a source says that Drake wants to shoot his shot with Lopez. While Drake is 17 years Lopez’s junior, he’s allegedly “ready and waiting” for her to become single so he can date her.
“Of course, Drake isn’t going to hook up with her while she’s still married,” an insider told In Touch Weekly. “He’d never cross that line. But once things are officially done with Ben, he’ll be ready and waiting to show her a good time.”
The insider added that Drake “dropped enough hints” for Lopez to know he’s still interested, as they had a brief romance in 2016. “Jennifer’s always been one of Drake’s biggest crushes, and he says that what they shared all those years ago was incredible,” the source added. “He never pushed for more then, but everyone knows he would have loved to seriously date her.”
The source added, “Drake may have a shot because they never got serious,” and Lopez doesn’t want to rekindle an old flame with any serious past boyfriends.

Drake and Jennifer Lopez never seriously romantically dated, but they went public with their brief relationship in the past. In December 2016, Drake appeared at many of Lopez’s “All I Have” concerts in Las Vegas. Rumors swirled around the potential couple when they seemed to go Instagram official. They posted a selfie online that shows Drake and Lopez extremely close.
Soon after the first photo, another photo showed Lopez lying in Drake’s arms, seemingly confirming Lopez and Drake were romantically connected.
The photos also seemed to cause a stir with Rihanna, Drake’s ex. Rihanna unfollowed Lopez on Instagram, prompting further speculation regarding Lopez and Drake.
By 2017, Drake and Lopez fizzled out, as Lopez moved on with baseball player Alex Rodriguez.

Some sources claim that Jennifer Lopez doesn’t plan on staying single for long if she and Ben Affleck divorce. A source told In Touch Weekly that she might want to go back to her famous ex-fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, though he’s currently in a relationship.
“He’s got a girlfriend now, but J. Lo doesn’t intend to stay single long, and she and A-Rod do have unfinished business,” the source said.
The source added that A-Rod was “devastated” when he and Lopez ended their romance. “He insists he’s happier now without her, but they have a lot of mutual friends that aren’t so convinced, and he’s not married or engaged, so at this point, it’s not beyond the realm that they could reconnect,” they continued.
