Drake Poses for Intimate Photo With Mystery Woman; Who Is She?
Drake fans are wondering if he’s finally off the market. On Monday, May 25, a photo emerged showing the self-proclaimed “lover boy” posing in an intimate photo with a mystery woman, which sent fans into a frenzy. But a new report says the woman in the picture with Drake is not a love interest. Here’s what we know about her so far.
The photo of Drake and the mystery girl isn’t what it looks like, according to reports
In the picture, the woman is smiling as Drake stands behind her with his hands resting on her waist. She looked stunning in a fitted white midi dress with her hair down, while he wore a dark-colored outfit and a leather jacket. The two appeared to be alone and in good spirits.
Immediately after the photo went up, fans started speculating about her identity and whether she and Drake are in a romantic relationship. The two have yet to directly comment on the speculation. But the entertainment website The Shade Room identified her as his stylist, Luisa Duran.
Duran appears to have her Instagram settings set to private at the time of this writing. But in a message re-posted by the Shade Room, where she congratulated Drake on winning the Artist of the Decade trophy at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, she gave off nothing but friendly vibes.
“Congratulations on artist of the decade. It’s been so amazing working with you these last 10 years. You are like a brother to me,” she reportedly wrote.
Before this, Drake had been linked to several others
Previously, Drake was linked to Kim Kardashian West after she filed for divorce from Kanye West in February. However, he reportedly denied the speculation. Showbiz Cheat Sheet previously reached out to representatives for both Drake and Kardashian West for comment but did not hear back.
He was also linked to her sister, Kylie Jenner, in 2019 following her split from Travis Scott. But it never seemed to get serious. “They have known each other and been friends for a very long time and there has always been a spark there, but their situation is complicated and so is Kylie’s with Travis,” a source told Us Weekly at the time.
“Drake and Kylie don’t want to jeopardize their friendship by crossing any major boundaries,” the insider added. “Drake doesn’t have any intention of taking on a fatherly role with Stormi and he wants to have fun with Kylie with no strings attached and continue to have a friendship and be supportive of one another.”
While Drake definitely seems like someone who loves love, it’s unclear if he’s interested in settling down and getting serious right now. He appears more focused on his upcoming album Certified Lover Boy and his son, Adonis, whom he shares with artist Sophie Brussaux.
