Dua Lipa’s Personal Favorite ‘Future Nostalgia’ Lyrics Are From ‘Love Again’

Dua Lipa released her album Future Nostalgia on March 27, 2020. The album won Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2021 Grammy Awards and features multiple hit singles including “Don’t Start Now,” “Levitating,” and “Love Again.” In an interview with Vogue, Lipa revealed that her favorite lyrics from the album are from the song “Love Again.”

On May 10, Vogue published an interview with Lipa called “73 Questions With Dua Lipa.” In the video interview, Lipa answers questions while taking Vogue behind the scenes of her Future Nostalgia Tour.

“How did your songwriting approach change between your two albums?” Vogue asked Lipa.

“I just got more confident and I trusted myself and my craft,” Lipa answered.

Vogue followed with, “And what is your favorite lyric that you’ve ever written?”

Lipa answered, “‘I’ll sink my teeth in disbelief ’cause you’re the one that I want,’ which is from my song ‘Love Again.'”

Throughout the Vogue interview, Lipa answered questions about her style, creative process, tour, and miscellaneous topics. At one point in the interview, Lipa discussed her Future Nostalgia tattoo.

“So I love your ‘Future Nostalgia’ tattoo. When did you get that?” Vogue asked.

“I got it before my album came out. I actually announced my album title through the tattoo,” said Lipa.

“Very cool,” said the Vogue interviewer. “And do you regret any of your tattoos?”

“No, I don’t regret any,” Lipa answered.

Vogue then asked, “What’s the biggest difference between getting ready for a red carpet versus getting ready for a concert?”

Lipa answered, “When you’re getting ready for a show, especially when you’re on tour, it’s like the traveling circus, you have a routine it’s so much easier I feel, whereas I feel like red carpets have a lot more pressure.”

Dua Lipa won a Grammy Award for ‘Future Nostalgia’

The 2021 Grammy Awards took place on March 14, 2021. At the award show, Lipa received six nominations. The singer-songwriter ended up taking home the award for Best Pop Vocal Album.

“This is insane. Future Nostalgia means the absolute world to me and it has changed my life in so many ways,” Lipa said in her acceptance speech.

She continued, “One thing that I’ve really come to realize is how much happiness is so important. I felt really jaded at the end of my last album where I felt like I only had to make sad music to feel like it mattered. And I’m just so grateful, and so honored because happiness is something that we all deserve and that something that we all need in our lives.”
