Duggar Family News: Where Do Justin and Claire Duggar Actually Live?
Justin Duggar and Claire Spivey aren’t the newest newlyweds in the Duggar family anymore. Six weeks out from their big, Texas wedding, the couple stopped in to chat with TLC about married life. Justin finally put to rest speculation. He will be living full-time in Texas, close to his wife’s family. Where exactly they are living, however, is still being discussed.
Justin Duggar flipped a mobile home in his home state of Arkansas before moving to Texas
Justin was briefly a homeowner. In September 2020, just days after announcing his courtship, Justin revealed that he was working on renovating a mobile home. Followers largely assumed that Justin, 18, and his bride, Claire, 19, would call the abode home. He didn’t intend for his moment of homeownership to last, though.
Just days after getting married, Justin sold the home he was given for $195,000. Justin isn’t the first Duggar son to flip a house. Jason Duggar flipped a home in 2020, just a couple of months after his 20th birthday. Jason isn’t yet married, and while there are rumors that a courtship could be on the horizon, Jason nor the Duggar family have made an announcement.
Justin and Claire reveal that they are living in Texas
Justin and Claire sat down with TLC to discuss married life. The duo got married in February 2021. Justin revealed that they are currently living in Claire’s hometown. He said that they decided to settle in Texas specifically to be close to Claire’s parents. He stopped short of mentioning whether or not the pair bought a house, though.
While the couple is remaining relatively tight-lipped about their future, family followers have made a few assumptions. Justin’s new father-in-law, Robert Spivey, owns a construction company. Family critics assume that the 18-year-old groom is working in the family business now that he’s officially a Spivey clan member.
Duggar Family followers believe the couple is living on property owned by Robert and Hillary Spivey
Justin and Claire might not want to reveal exactly where they are living just yet. Family followers believe they know why. They think that Justin and Claire are residing with Claire’s parents, or, at the very least, on property that the Spivey family owns. Life Is Not All Pickles and Hairspray, a Facebook page dedicated to Duggar news, notes that the Spivey family home appears to have a large trailer in their backyard, potentially serving as living quarters for the young newlyweds.
While there has been no confirmation, it isn’t hard to believe that Justin and Claire may be living in the Spivey’s backyard. Joshua Duggar and his wife Anna Duggar are currently residing in a warehouse on the Duggar family’s Springdale, Arkansas property. Neither the Duggar family nor the Spivey family has confirmed or denied Claire and Justin’s living situation.
