Dustin Johnson and Paulina Gretzky Still Don’t Have a Wedding Date 8 Years Into Their Engagement
If it seems like PGA Tour star Dustin Johnson and his model girlfriend, Paulina Gretzky, have been engaged forever, that’s because it’s basically true. The power couple first got engaged in 2013, but they still haven’t tied the knot.
Gretzky recently drummed up rumors of an eventual date when she posted pictures and videos on Instagram of the model wedding dress shopping with famed fashion designer Vera Wang. But when Johnson was asked shortly after whether the couple has set a date yet, he immediately shot it down.

Lengthy engagements are fairly common in the celebrity world nowadays. Power couples have extremely busy schedules that typically don’t match up with each other, so it sometimes takes years for them to eventually find time to tie the knot.
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux were engaged for three years before they finally got hitched. Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen took six years to make their marriage official. And the most extreme example: Oprah Winfrey and Stedman Graham have been engaged for 28 years… and counting!
Johnson and Gretzky are now going on the eighth year of their longtime engagement after first making the announcement in 2013. The couple has had two sons since then — River Jones, 3, and Tatum, 5.
“I don’t know if people know if me and Dustin are really married or not. We’re not. We’re so in love,” Gretzky said earlier this year on The Netchicks podcast. “I feel like everyone is like, ‘What is it? Is he not wanting to or she not wanting to?’ It’s so stupid.
“Being just with kids and being happy, I don’t want anything from Dustin other than I love him.”

Fans are always on the lookout for hints and clues regarding Johnson and Gretzky’s eventual wedding date. A few weeks ago, Gretzky offered the biggest clue yet when she posted pictures and videos to her Instagram of herself wedding dress shopping with Wang in New York.
“Making my dreams come true. You are a queen & friend @verawang thank you,” Gretzky wrote in a caption with a heart emoji.
“Sooooo excited for you guys,” Wang replied with six clapping emojis and five more hearts.
Could a wedding date finally be on the horizon for the celebrity couple?
Still no wedding date for the power couple “yet”
Gretzky’s recent Instagram dump made it look as if a wedding date with Johnson is imminent, but not so fast. Johnson spoke to Golfweek earlier this month about where his game is at and whether the couple had finally set a date to get hitched, and his simple answer put an end to all the rumors.
“We do not have one yet,” Johnson candidly admitted.
Johnson did say a date is getting closer, but in the scheme of an eight-year engagement, that could really mean anything.
