Who Is Eagles Receiver DaVonta Smith’s Fianceé Mya Danielle?
Wideout DaVonta Smith was a star athlete in college when he played for the Alabama Crimson Tide, won two national championships, and was awarded the Heisman Trophy.
Smith was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles with the 10th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. He has continued his high-caliber play and today, is one half of the best wide receiver duo in the league with A.J. Brown.
After scoring a touchdown in 2023, Smith celebrated in the endzone with a “rock the baby” gesture for his daughter who was born a day earlier. Ever since then, fans have been wanting to know more about Smith’s life away from the gridiron.

Smith and Danielle went public with their relationship in 2023 and welcomed their daughter, Kyse, in October of that same year.
Prior to Kyse’s birth, the couple posted a sweet tribute to her via Instagram that read: “To our unborn you were made with so much love. We’re so thankful God blessed us to be your parents. You have so much love for you already it’s indescribable. We know the journey will not be easy but it’ll be an amazing story to tell. Mommie and DaDa cannot wait to meet you. See you soon baby girl.”

Smith’a lady attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
She graduated in 2021 and along with pictures in her cap and gown, she shared a quote from Oprah Winfrey that read: “’You must have some vision for your life. Even if you don’t know the plan, you have to have a direction in which you choose to go.’—Oprah. A special thank you to the man above for his continuous guidance my God has never failed me. To THE Southern University thank you.”

When Smith and Danielle got engaged
Before the clock struck midnight on Dec. 31, 2024, Smith got down on one knee and popped the question which Danielle happily accepted.
The New Year’s Eve proposal took place on a rooftop under an archway of flowers, surrounded by candles while a violinist played.
Danielle later shared photos of the moment on Instagram with the caption: “Went on a ROCK climbing adventure with my forever tonight,” along with a ring, a heart, and teary-eyed emojis.
