Eddie Murphy has strong feelings about Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist’s divorce

Eddie Murphy has strong feelings about the golden divorce. In an interview with the New York Times, Murphy revealed that he had watched The Golden Bachelor and enjoyed the show. The star said he watched the entire season and was happy to see Turner and Nist find love in the second part of their life. Murphy didn’t dwell on his feelings about the golden couple for too long, but he clearly didn’t need to. Murphy is not alone in his sentiment. His feelings about the situation align with what other viewers felt when the couple announced their divorce. Many fans who watched Turner and Nist fall in love and get married on live TV were extremely unhappy when they called it quits just a few months later. Rumors about the end of the marriage persist.

Will Eddie Murphy watch ‘The Golden Bachelorette’?

While The Golden Bachelor didn’t end on a happy note, fans will get the chance for a happy ending for another golden contestant. The Golden Bachelorette is coming to ABC. Murphy did not mention if he plans to watch The Golden Bachelorette. The series will premiere in September. It will feature self-eliminated The Golden Bachelor contestant Joan Vassos as the lead. Vassos began filming her season late last month, and spy shots suggest she’s having a pretty good time so far.

If Murphy does tune in to watch, he might be happier with the outcome of Vassos’ season. While we don’t yet have spoilers for the upcoming season, Vassos has been pretty candid about the measured approach she’ll be taking to finding love in the second act of her life.

The Maryland-based widow said she has no intention of getting married immediately after filming. She insists she’d like to get to know her partner in the “real world” before committing to marriage. The upcoming Golden Bachelorette lead also plans to be more realistic about long-distance relationships. She has no intention of leaving her kids back in Maryland to chase love elsewhere but will entertain a long-distance romance.
