Ellen DeGeneres Made Justin Bieber Extremely Uncomfortable When Talking About ‘Yummy’
Justin and Hailey Bieber keep proving the haters wrong, as they seem to have a loving and healthy marriage. The singer and the model first met back in 2009 and became friends, though they didn’t spark any romance rumors until 2014. And after a rough falling out in 2016, the two rekindled their romance in 2018. Justin asked Hailey to marry him just four months after his relationship with Selena Gomez ended.
In early 2020, Justin visited The Ellen DeGeneres Show. And when DeGeneres asked him about his relationship with Hailey and about his hit song, “Yummy,” he got incredibly nervous.

Justin and Gomez’s relationship was the hot topic of conversation for years, and many doubted whether he was really serious about Hailey given their quick engagement. But the couple’s proving they have a strong bond and are very in love.
In January 2020, Justin visited The Ellen DeGeneres Show to talk about his relationship with Hailey. And DeGeneres seemed thrilled for Justin.
“I am so happy you’re happy,” DeGeneres told Justin. “And you deserve to be nurtured and loved and everything that is happening for you right now.”
DeGeneres then explained to the audience that Justin and Hailey met each other when they were in their early teens, and it’s a miracle they ended up marrying later.
“I had no idea that I was gonna marry her at that time,” Justin told DeGeneres. “But I’m glad it worked out because she’s an amazing, amazing, amazing person.”
DeGeneres appears to embarrass Justin when talking about ‘Yummy’
Justin had plenty of great things to say about Hailey while talking to the comedian. But DeGeneres also wanted to discuss Justin’s hit song “Yummy,” which is clearly about his love life with his wife.
“So, here’s what I want to ask. ‘Yummy’ — what does that mean exactly?” DeGeneres questioned. “I mean, I think I know. But what were you thinking of when you wrote that ‘yummy, yummy.'”
The question caused Justin to pause. “My sex life,” he finally answered, and the audience erupted with laughter.
“OK,” DeGeneres commented back. “That’s what I thought it was. Because there’s something about toes curling and stuff.”
“Yeah, I mean, it is what it is, right?” Justin said back. “I’m married, you know? So.”
“You got that ‘Yummy,'” DeGeneres joked again.
“It’s what it is, you know?” he said. Justin then took a large gulp of water to show his discomfort. “Is it getting hot in here?” he asked.
Fans think Justin’s nervous because he hadn’t been on the show in awhile
Justin’s fans could tell he was ultra-uncomfortable with DeGeneres’ invasive question. They took to the comments to explain what they noticed.
“The way he’s acting is how I act when I’m severely anxious/panic attack,” one fan commented. “Please be kind to him it’s really scary if that’s what he’s dealing with.”
“She says, ‘Mmm yep it’s yummy,’ he gets EXTREMELY uncomfortable,” another wrote.
“Seems uncomfortable most importantly he can’t even sit still,” yet another added.
Others think fans should show Justin a lot of grace, as this was his first time back on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in a number of years, so it makes sense as to why he’d be nervous.
“It’s his first interview in four years obviously he’s nervous guys,” another wrote.
We’re looking forward to hearing more about Justin and Hailey as they continue on with married life. As for ‘Yummy,’ we doubt he’ll ever discuss it with DeGeneres again.
