90 Day Fiancé fans got to know Eric Rosenbrook through his controversial relationship with Leida Margaretha. In particular, fans of the show remember Eric kicking out his then-teenage daughter, Tasha, because Leida didn’t get along with her. Leida eventually filed a restraining order against Tasha that still affects their relationship today.

“Some things that had been done during the dispute can’t be undone currently right now, unfortunately. Because the powers at be were like, ‘No, I’m not doing that.’ So the relationship is just kind of kept down low. We don’t really do much together,” said Eric of his current relationship with his daughter in an interview with The Domenick Nati Show on July 4.

Eric Rosenbrook says ’90 Day Fiancé’ is very edited and produced

Eric also said that the drama between him, Leida, and Tasha was edited in a way that didn’t show the whole story.

“They remove context. In our season, between us and Tasha, they just removed the context completely and they put in their own narrative. They edited it in a way that explains it in a way they wanted it displayed. And if they would have played the whole conversation, it would have changed everything,” he said.

Eric says, while 90 Day Fiancé isn’t scripted, the storylines are very much produced.

“They don’t script, but they produce. So they will create scenarios. They will create situations,” he said.

Eric claims TLC threatened him to get the footage they wanted

The reality star was asked if he feels, overall, he had a “good” and “fair” experience working with TLC.

“During it, they treat you pretty good, except for when they threaten you if you don’t give them what they want,” he said.

Eric went on to say that production repeatedly told Leida to bring up her “energy.” “The story is so boring,” he said they’d tell her.

Additionally, he says shooting days will go as long as they need to get the footage producers want.

“The interviews when you’re sitting in the chair–you’re sitting in that chair for 12 hours. Literally, you’ll go all night if they don’t get what they want. Because you go through questions and they ask you different ways,” he said.

Eric says he’s “done” appearing on 90 Day Fiancé shows. According to the reality TV couple, they’ve been asked multiple times to appear on Happily Ever After? But they’ve always turned the network down. One time when they were asked, Eric and Leida said they’d do it only if they were paid $5,000 each per episode and TLC gave them a truck. Eric says he made those demands knowing TLC wouldn’t comply.

“They were like, ‘No, we don’t do that.’ And I was like, ‘Alright, cool. Then leave us alone,’” he said.
