Rue forgives Elliot in the ‘Euphoria’ Season 2 finale
Fike’s character Elliot has been a bad influence on Rue in Euphoria Season 2. The pair’s friendship began with doing a lot of drugs together, but later Elliot became concerned for Rue. Eventually, he admitted to Jules that Rue wasn’t clean. Jules in turn told Rue’s mother. Rue was was extremely angry with Elliot, but she went to visit him in the season 2 finale.
Rue told Elliot “I think you might have accidentally saved my life” and forgave him. Elliot then played Rue a song he wrote. Elliot also asks Rue if she thinks they can still be friends. He is seen alive and well at Lexi’s play, so there’s a good possibility that he will be appearing in Euphoria Season 3.
Dominic Fike comments on Elliot fan theories
A number of fan theories have been circulating about Fike’s character Elliot. Euphoria fans have noticed a portrait in the Jacobs family home that shows three sons. However, only Aaron and Nate have been introduced. This has led fans to speculate about the identity of the third Jacobs brother, and some even think that it could be Elliot.
Jimmy Fallon asked Fike about this theory on an episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “I’m not even gonna lie. I saw this one online,” Fike responded.
“I looked at it for a while and there were so many things connecting and so many people talking about it all through these Reddit threads and at the end of it I was like, ‘Am I Nate’s brother?'” Fike said with a laugh. “I almost called him up and asked him.”
Fallon also mentioned the theory that Elliot doesn’t actually exist and is a figment of Rue’s imagination. This theory seems to be losing traction, and Fike didn’t seem convinced by it. “Oh my gosh. You wish,” he responded.
Will Elliot return for ‘Euphoria’ Season 3?
Euphoria has been renewed for season 3, though the official cast list hasn’t been announced yet. It’s too soon to tell when the new season will be available. However, Fike seemingly confirmed his character will be a part of season 3 on The Tonight Show. Fallon asked Fike, “Do you think we’ll see you back for season 3?” The actor responded, “Absolutely, yeah.”
