‘Euphoria’ Season 2: One Scene Points to Tragedy for Fez in Finale
Fez (Angus Cloud) quickly became the fan favorite in Euphoria Season 2. However, with a show as dark and tense as this one, many fans worry that Fez’s time is limited. He and his adopted little brother, Ashtray (Javon Walton), work as drug dealers. Their situation has gotten increasingly dicey throughout Euphoria Seasons 1 and 2, and now it looks like the problem is coming to a head.

Fez didn’t show up for Lexi’s play in ‘Euphoria’ Season 2 Episode 7
Lexi (Maude Apatow) and Fez grew close this season, much to fans’ delight. She told him about the play she wrote and wants to produce at her high school, and he encouraged her. Euphoria Season 2 Episode 7 showed clips of the two talking on the phone as Lexi expressed her fears about the potential repercussions of the show. Plus, Lexi made it clear that she wanted Fez there on opening night and even told him she saved him “the best seat in the house.”
However, around halfway through the play, accurately titled “Our Life,” one of Lexi’s assistants told her that her guest never showed up. When Lexi looked out into the audience, she saw an empty seat where Fez should’ve been. With the pressure of producing the play, it seemed as though Lexi quickly put the problem out of her mind for the moment. One heartbreaking scene in the teaser for the Euphoria Season 2 finale hinted at what’s to come in Fez and Lexi’s future.
The ‘Euphoria’ Season 2 finale trailer showed a bloody Fez screaming out
Tensions continued to mount in Euphoria’s penultimate episode when Custer showed up at Fez and Ashtray’s house. Previously, audiences watched as Custer told Faye he was working with the police regarding the murder of Mouse. It’s clear Custer is wearing a wire and the teaser for next week implies a tragedy occurs.
In one quick clip, fans see Fez lying on the floor with blood in his mouth. He reaches out to someone or something, and the card he made for Lexi lies in front of him. It appears he’s screaming, which means he’s been injured, or he’s watching someone else get hurt or killed. Most fans believe both Fez and Ashtray might die in the finale, but nothing has been confirmed.
The police raid Fez and Ashtray’s house in the finale
Fez’s relationship with Lexi quickly became one of the most loved couples on television right now. However, this makes fans even more nervous about Fez’s fate. Euphoria has yet to be known for its happy endings, which makes audiences fear something terrible will happen to Fez and Ashtray.
The Euphoria Season 2 finale trailer didn’t put anyone’s mind at ease either. It’s apparent the Feds or police break into the house. On top of that, scenes show Faye scared and dropping a glass of water on the ground. With Custer already in the house, while trying to get Fez or Ashtray to incriminate themselves, the finale looks jam-packed with plenty of action and heartbreak.
