Get excited, Euphoria fans! Season 3 of the hit drama is finally, finally in the works. Better yet, HBO, the network behind the series, has given fans a glimpse of what’s to come with a first look photo. Hint: It’s of Rue Bennett, the character Zendaya’s won two Emmy Awards playing.

Photo of Rue Bennett gives fans first look at ‘Euphoria’ Season 3

With a simple image of Rue looking over her shoulder in a dimly lit room HBO announced Euphoria Season 3 is on the way. The first look image posted to the network’s Instagram on Feb. 10, 2025, as well as their other social media channels. It also included a brief yet powerful caption: “Euphoria season 3 is in production.”

Per The Hollywood Reporter, HBO is on track with a previous announcement made in the summer of 2024 that filming would start in January. The award-winning series hasn’t had new episodes in some time. Seasons 1 and 2 of Euphoria premiered in June 2019 and January 2022, respectively.

Details about ‘Euphoria’ Season 3

While HBO hasn’t revealed much about Euphoria Season 3 yet, that doesn’t mean the next installment is a complete unknown. Main cast members Hunter Schafer, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, and Colman Domingo are set to return. Storm Reid will, however, not be returning (bye, Gia!).

As for the storyline, Zendaya previously shared in an October 2024 podcast interview, per the outlet, Euphoria Season 3 will time jump to the characters’ post-high school years.

No premiere date has been announced for Euphoria Season 3 (the show is currently in production, after all). Until the new season drops, fans can catch up on all the past drama. Euphoria Seasons 1 and 2 are streaming on HBO.
