Evanna Lynch Reunites With Her ‘Harry Potter’ Costars and It’s Great
Evanna Lynch plays a very special character in Harry Potter. She portrays the unique Luna Lovegood. Luna is a character that fans love to follow and root for. That makes Lynch a favorite with fans as well.
Fans also always love to see the Harry Potter cast reunite. And recently fans got their wish with Instagram posts by cast members Evanna Lynch and Oliver Phelps. Is a Harry Potter reunion on the horizon? Will the original cast return for another story?

Why is Evanna Lynch’s Luna such an integral part of the story of ‘Harry Potter’?
Luna Lovegood is first introduced in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. She is an eccentric younger student who helps Harry feel less alone during his fifth year at Hogwarts. Like Harry, she can see thestrals, the magical creatures that can only be seen by those who have witnessed a death. Because of this association, thestrals are often misunderstood by wizards while they’re really kind and gentle.
Luna, however, understands the thestrals’ true nature, and even is shown feeding them in the Harry Potter movies. She is a comfort to Harry because she believes him about Voldemort being back when few people do. She also comforts him after the death of his godfather Sirius Black, letting him know that one day they will be reunited, since she believes the same about her mother, who died when Luna was nine years old.
Luna also assists Harry in Deathly Hallows, helping him find the diadem of Ravenclaw, which was turned into a Horcrux by Voldemort. Without Luna’s help, Harry might not have defeated the Dark Lord after all. Harry also might have turned down a darker path during and after his fifth year at Hogwarts. Luna often gives Harry hope when he thinks there is none, and that is very important.

Evanna Lynch and her Harry Potter costars James and Oliver Phelps and Bonnie Wright reunited at Rhode Island Comic-Con. That’s right. It’s a Weasley family reunion, well a partial one anyway, plus Luna.
Harry Potter fans everywhere must have rejoiced to see the above picture as well as the one posted by Oliver Phelps. In Phelps’ picture, the four actors are making silly faces. The caption reads “We take this stuff very seriously.” What a funny bunch of people!
The reunion was wonderful
We are sure that the former Harry Potter cast members had loads of fun together. You really get the feeling that they get along well and can be themselves around each other. According to Bustle, Evanna Lynch posted a few Instagram stories where she mentioned that the Phelps twins were “making fun” of her selfie stick.
Sounds like a wonderful meeting to us! It’s always nice to be reunited with old friends. Especially when said old friends are as funny and pleasant as the Harry Potter cast seem to be. Evanna Lynch, James and Oliver Phelps, and Bonnie Wright seem to have had an amazing time.
