The Real Housewives of New Jersey just wrapped its 14th season, but fans have been clamoring to learn what will become of the cast for season 15 for weeks. Rumors continue to swirl that the series will be getting a complete refresh. Andy Cohen has been fanning the flames of that rumor for a long time. We’ve collected everything he said about the situation in the last year.

Andy Cohen has discussed refreshing ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’ cast for more than a year

Andy Cohen is not entirely against the idea of rebranding a show. He did so with The Real Housewives of New York City and appears prepared to do the same for the New Jersey installment.

Last year, Showbiz Cheat Sheet caught up with the Bravo executive and inquired about rumors that the cast for RHONJ would be completely refreshed following season 13. The famed TV personality said that he didn’t think they were at that point but added a caveat. He noted Bravo wasn’t ready to recast the show “yet.”

In July 2023, Cohen was willing to give the cast one more chance. If they were warned, they did not heed the warning. Cohen has become increasingly annoyed with the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. The more irritated he gets, the more he talks about a reboot.

Andy Cohen suggested ‘all fresh faces’ might make up the cast of ‘RHONJ’

Cohen sent the internet into a frenzy in July 2024. During an episode of his SiriusXM radio show, Andy Cohen Live, he told a listener that something big would change with the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. He went on to say that viewers may be seeing “all fresh faces” when season 15 of the series premieres.

Cohen later backtracked on his statement. In a follow-up SiriusXM episode, Cohen insisted that he was just “riffing” and that no final decisions have been made. Fans don’t buy it. They think a decision has been made but believe the Bravo executive likely spoke out of turn and was asked by the network to walk back the statement. While his comments during the season are telling, what he had to say after the finale makes the finality of season 14 feel even more real.

Andy Cohen says the upcoming special feels like a series finale

Andy Cohen might have backed off recent statements about what would happen to the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but he hasn’t stopped talking entirely. The more he chats about the installment and its 14th season, the more he hints at a complete reboot.

After the season finale, Cohen chatted about the upcoming watch party special on his SiriusXM show. Cohen said fans will enjoy the forthcoming special, noting that it feels like a “soft landing” for the show. He suggested it feels a bit like a “series finale.” Cohen’s most recent words are the most concrete statement on what is to come for the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey yet. Is it the final word on the installment, though? That is still being determined.
