Drake Shares First Photos of His Son Adonis, and Fans Can’t Hide Their Confusion
It’s only been a few hours since Drake shared the first photos of his son Adonis with fans, and many already have a lot to say about the toddler’s curly blonde locks and bright blue eyes.
While some fans couldn’t help but gush over how adorable the 2-year-old is, others are having a hard time believing the little boy is actually the rapper’s son.

Drake has finally shared pictures of his son Adonis with the world!
The 33-year-old rapper took to Instagram on Mar. 30 to post never-before-seen family photos.
In the series of snapshots, fans get an up-close look at the toddler’s curly blonde hair and striking blue eyes. One photo shows Drake holding his 2-year-old son while a separate photo also shows himself, Adonis, and Adonis’ mother, Sophie Brussaux, posing together. The rapper also included a photo of his parents in the Instagram slideshow.
Along with the photos, Drake shared a sweet message that highlights the importance of people connecting with their own “inner light.”
“What is most important for you right now is to connect to your own inner light,” he began. “This will create the biggest opening of all. Trust that you have all of the power within to make this happen, and in order to do that connect to the people and things that bring you a lot of joy.”
The rapper continued, “It doesn’t matter what has happened in the past or what is happening around us now, you can always make the choice to break free of the wheel of suffering and panic and open up to your own light.”
Drake went on to share how much he misses his loved ones and as well as his message of hope to those who are not around their families at this time due to the coronavirus outbreak.
“Remember that you are never alone, and if you need to be reminded of that ask for support and it will show up,” he penned. “I love and miss my beautiful family and friends and I can’t wait for the joyful day when we are all able to reunite. Until then please keep your lights on.”
Fans have had a lot to say about the toddler’s features
After Drake posted images of his son for the first time with the powerful message about togetherness, many took to social media to share their reactions to Adonis’ official debut.
In the comments section under the Instagram post, many fans and fellow celebrities gushed over Drake’s beautiful family and couldn’t get over how adorable his son is.
“He’s beautiful,” one fan commented. “Young legend,” another person wrote.
Some even applauded Drake for spreading words of wisdom during this difficult time.
“What a beautiful little guy you have, and the message we all needed,” the rapper’s Degrassi co-star Miriam McDonald wrote.
“Powerful words, loved it,” a fan expressed.
While many complimented Drake’s adorable family and his encouraging words, others voiced their shock over Adonis’ appearance.
Many weren’t expecting him to have blonde hair and blue eyes and have been sharing their surprised reactions on Twitter.
“For some odd reason I was thinking Drake’s baby would’ve been you know darker..I guess not,” one person tweeted.
“If one more person comes [at] me for this, I know Adonis looks like his grandma. But I legit just said he doesn’t look as I expected because I imagined a mini Drake. Either way the baby is cute as heck and in no way was I trying to spread hate to a tiny human,” another Twitter user wrote.
For some sharp-eyed fans, it didn’t take long for them to realize that the toddler looks just like Drake’s mom, Sandi Graham. She also has curly blonde hair and light-colored eyes.
“His grandma’s twin! Cuz Adonis defly dont look like Drake!” one fan penned.
“Adonis’s genes are definitely from Drake’s mom,” someone else tweeted.
Though Adonis doesn’t look exactly like his dad now, there is a chance that could change as he gets older. But for the time being, we’ll just keep calling him his grandmother’s twin and gushing over how adorable this blonde-haired blue-eyed toddler is.
