He is married to Selling Sunset star Heather Rae Young, and he shares two children with his ex-wife Christina Haack. On April 26, the HGTV star shared an Instagram post showing a sweet moment with his youngest child.
The image showed El Moussa wearing a black sweatshirt and cap, sitting on a lounge chair by a pool. He has his 6-year-old son Brayden bundled in a towel in his arms, and the Flip or Flop star faced away from the camera to kiss the top of his child’s head.

Tarek El Moussa’s Instagram post about his “obsession” with his children reflects something his wife Heather Rae Young said about having kids with him.
When they first got together, the Selling Sunset star said she didn’t feel the need to have her own children and add more members to the family.
But in February 2022, Young told Today that seeing El Moussa with his two kids made her change her mind about having a baby.
“When Tarek and I started dating, I told him, ‘As much as I love Taylor and Brayden, I’m not going to have children of my own,’” she said. “But seeing Tarek as a dad completely changed my mind about everything. He’s obsessed with them.”
Young shared that the Flip or Flop star was not initially receptive to the idea of having more kids. “Tarek and I communicate very well with each other, so I didn’t hold back about how I was feeling,” she said. “At first, he was like, ‘Oh, I’m not sure … I already have two beautiful children.’ But the more we discussed it, the more excited we both became. Now, he’ll just look at me and go, ‘I can’t wait to have a baby with you!’”
