Fans React After Joseline Hernandez Snaps In Wendy Williams Interview
If there’s anything we know about Joseline Hernandez, it’s that when she has something on her mind, she’s not afraid to say it. Since first emerging on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta in 2012, the self-proclaimed “Puerto Rican princess” has established a reputation for being blunt and telling it like it is. But that doesn’t always mix well with others. Such was the case on April 28, when Hernandez interviewed with Wendy Williams.

Though Hernandez has appeared on The Wendy Williams Show before, things have always gone smoothly (for the most part, at least). This particular interview also got off to a good start, with Williams kicking things off by complimenting Hernandez on her look. But the reality star was more focused on hashing out what she felt were past slights from Williams.
“Miss Wendy, I must just say this to you first,” she began. “I hope you’re gonna give me my flowers today. I hope you’re gonna honor how much work I’ve put out there. I hope you’re gonna not kinda throw this off outside of everything that I’ve done. I’m an accomplished woman and I just feel like every time I come to your show, you don’t give me those flowers.”
Williams chimed in to point out that she has supported her in the past, but Hernandez disregarded that. This sparked a back and forth between them, with Williams trying to move on and Hernandez demanding more respect from the TV host.
“You should be nicer to us ladies, you should respect us, you should give us our flowers while we’re here, and you should tell us how proud you are of what we’ve done in the streets,” said Hernandez.
Finally, after more bickering, Williams gave in and threw a flower in Hernandez’s direction. The two were eventually able to move on with the interview, though it only lasted for a short nine minutes.

While it’s not uncommon for Hernandez to fight with others, many fans were surprised to see her go at Williams of all people.
“Joseline went on Wendy this morning and chose violence omg,” tweeted esthetician Sean Garrette.
“Now why would Joseline get on Wendy’s show and shade her like that 😂😂,” a second viewer wrote.

At the same time, there were some people who side-eyed Hernandez and questioned her comments.
“Joseline made some points but also who is Joseline to be talking about uplifting and women empowerment,” read a third tweet.
Another person wondered, “Why does Joseline want wendy’s approval so bad, damn.”

We truly hate to see these two go at it, but at least they were able to express themselves, hash things out, and move on. Here’s hoping that if Hernandez ever returns to the show, it’ll go a lot smoother.
