The episode pulls back the curtain on Khloé Kardashian’s reaction to the news about Tristan Thompson fathering a baby outside of their relationship. Now that fans have seen Khloé’s heartbreak over the situation, they’re rallying around her in support.

The Kardashians finale picks up where “Bucket List Goals” left off. Kim Kardashian calls her siblings to discuss the December 2021 lawsuit against Thompson brought forth by fitness model Maralee Nichols. According to HotNewHipHop notes, Thompson filed paperwork in response to the suit admitting to cheating on Khloé and sleeping with Nichols while he was in Houston.
After reading his declaration to Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner, Kim gets a call from Khloé. At the time, Khloé was unaware of the news, but Kim filled her in, much to her disbelief. As the gravity of the situation set in, Khloé began to cry. Kim ushered the camera crew out of the room to give Khloé privacy as she dealt with Thompson’s betrayal again.

Before the finale of The Kardashians dropped on Hulu, Khloé tweeted: “I hope everyone enjoys the season finale of #TheKardashians tonight. I can’t believe how quickly season 1 flew by. I can’t live tweet tonight do to another obligation but I want to see your tweets. I’m def going to be looking on Twitter. I want to know your thoughts. ILY”
Despite what Khloé said in the episode about society “blaming” her for what happened and having to go through this betrayal so publicly, many fans have shown an outpouring of love and support on Twitter. “We can’t be more blessed and grateful for your love & commitment to make people feel better, for [inspiring] and [helping] some of us over the world,” one fan replied in a tweet. “We are here [to] support your growing and development …. We’re proud of you. We love you.”
“I hope you choose yourself this time,” reads another reply. “Your peace most of all! You deserve a love that is soft and beautiful to experience, one that you won’t question and one that won’t make you question/doubt yourself. And I hope that you never stop believing in true love and it’s magic!”

Not every fan has been supportive of Khloé and her decision to give Thompson a second chance. Many people criticized Khloé for sticking it out with Thompson; Kim addressed those haters directly in the finale episode.
“All of you f***ing trolls on the internet that make Khloé feel like the biggest piece of s*** — I will find each and every one of you and … not threaten you on TV, but it’s wrong,” Kim said.
“You guys don’t understand — when you have a child, you’ll do anything to try to make it work and I’m so proud of who Khloé is that she wanted to give her relationship a second chance even after [Thompson] dogged her and embarrassed the s*** out of her. When the whole world is looking at you, laughing at you, calling you every name in the book, do you know how hard that is?”
