Fans Slam Khloé Kardashian for Dressing True in Designer Swimsuit
The Kardashian-Jenners know all too well that you can’t please everyone. They’re also totally used to people slamming them regularly, so it’s not a big surprise that Khloé Kardashian’s latest Instagram post of her super adorable daughter True has gotten some criticism. It comes with the territory, but at least not everyone was hating on Kardashian’s outfit choice for her daughter.
Kardashian posts a ‘happy’ pic of True
Kardashian posted a sweet photo of True smiling in a pool, captioning it simply, “My happy girl.” She mentioned in the comments, “We are missing our beach vacation so we are pretending.”
Florist Jeff Leatham commented, “Yep!! This photo is officially the best way to start the week” and Kardashian responded, “awwwww it really is!! We love you so much Jeff!”
“The next Burberry Ad is here!!! Mama’s got a taste,” one fan wrote, while another shared, “That smile is everything.”
Her pal La La Anthony noted, “She’s growing up so fast. So beautiful. So sweet” and True’s mom agreed, writing, “It happens so quickly. I wish I could freeze time.”
When one fan shared, “Too cute and sweet. So lovely. She looks so happy,” Kardashian said, “I promise this is her every day made. I was blessed with the happiest angel.”
Her critics had something to say, of course
Not everyone was won over by her choice to dress True in the Burberry plaid style, though most of the comments were positive. Some criticized Kardashian for choosing expensive designer duds for a toddler. The Burberry Siera vintage check one-piece swimsuit retails for $130 and is available from Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, and Saks Fifth Avenue.
“Guess she can’t just get a reg bathing suit, she has to spend all that money to make the kid fashionable,” one person commented. Another commenter agreed, writing, “I think it’s kind of weird to dress a two-year-old in a designer swimsuit like that? Let her wear a pink one with unicorns on it, not this!”
Some thought the bathing suit was too old for her, with comments like, “Oh wow, she’s so cute. But isn’t her swimsuit for someone her mother’s age?” and “Never seen a baby look so grown up!”
True is helping her mom stay in shape
Kardashian also shared some video footage of how True is helping her stay in shape during quarantine. “Trying to get some of this quarantine weight off for my @goodamerican shoot,” she noted on a video of herself running up a hill.
True is in on the fun and providing some extra weight for her mom — as she rides in a wagon tethered to Kardashian’s waist. That can’t be easy! Her trainer posted an extended video of Kardashian in action, captioning it, “Anytime. Anyplace. Anybody. w/ Anything.” The reality star commented, “You are CRAZY!!! But I’m crazier because I keep calling you back.”
People cheered her on in the comments, with one fan saying, “True is so adorable just chilling and enjoying the ride while mommy gets her workout done. Great way to bond and stay fit.”
