Fans Slam Kylie Jenner For Using Stormi as a ‘Living Accessory’
Kylie Jenner welcomed her daughter, Stormi, with rapper Travis Scott back in 2018. Since then, Jenner has loved posting photos and videos of her daughter to social media. The mother-daughter duo is a favorite among Kardashian-Jenner fans, and people love when Jenner posts something funny or sweet about her little girl.
Still, some fans are slamming the beauty mogul for using Stormi as an “accessory” rather than letting her be a kid.
Kylie Jenner kept away from the spotlight during her pregnancy
Jenner started dating Scott back in 2017, and the two had only been together for about two months before they learned they were expecting their first child. It’s typical of the Kardashian-Jenner family to open the world to everything that happens in their lives. However, Jenner chose to keep her entire pregnancy a secret from the public. Jenner goes all out for any of Stormi’s special occasions. She’s hosted “Stormi World” for each of Stormi’s birthdays and had a luxurious launch party for her Stormi makeup collection.
Some think Jenner is using her daughter as an accessory
Despite that some love seeing Stormi on Jenner’s feed, others think the Kylie Cosmetics founder is using her daughter as more of a prop rather than treating her like a kid. When Stormi was young, Jenner said in an interview that she wouldn’t force her little girl to be in the spotlight. But fans have noticed that Jenner didn’t keep her word.
In a recent photo, fans slammed Jenner for giving her daughter a bag worth more than $1,000 during a time when so many are struggling to make ends meet due to the pandemic. “I don’t know how you people could just live that life at this day and age… That bag could’ve been a month meal for someone out there,” one user wrote.
Others suggested Jenner is using her daughter as a prop. “I feel like some of these kids are pretty much living accessories for them,” one user wrote. The comment received hundreds of likes. “Shame on whoever said it’s ok to use Stormi this way,” another person wrote.
