Kylie Jenner grew up being known as the youngest sibling in the Kardashian-Jenner family. These days, she has also made a name for herself as a business woman, with much of her success being due to her popular makeup brand, Kylie Cosmetics.

Although Kylie Cosmetics allowed Jenner to be recognized as a beauty mogul, some fans now  believe that the 22-year-old does not care about the company anymore.

Kylie Cosmetics has brought in a lot of money for Kylie Jenner

Jenner launched Kylie Cosmetics in 2015 originally focusing on selling her signature lip kits. The company saw massive growth even in the very beginning, and Kylie Cosmetics soon branched out to sell more beauty products.

In 2018, Forbes declared Jenner the youngest self-made billionaire, with much of her net worth coming from profits earned by Kylie Cosmetics. She allegedly added even more money to her bank account in 2019 after selling 51% of her company to Coty Inc. for $600 million.

Forbes would later retract her billionaire status and published an article claiming Jenner falsified tax reports to inflate her earnings, but she still reportedly has a net worth of $900 million, which shows her business actually did very well nonetheless.

Fans think Kylie Jenner is ‘not passionate’ about Kylie Cosmetics anymore

Kylie Cosmetics had a huge momentum going for a few years, but fans believe Jenner is no longer “passionate” about running her beauty empire anymore.

In a recent Reddit thread discussing her friend Anastasia “Stassie” Karanikolaou’s new beauty ad, fans wondered whether Jenner herself was peeved that a close friend chose to advertise for another makeup company. Some believe Jenner was not annoyed because she might not even care about Kylie Cosmetics at this point.

“Maybe she did everything she wanted. Started a makeup brand, grew it, cashed out ALOOOOOT of money and then don’t care anymore,” one fan wrote.

“She seems to hawk Kylie Skin far more than Kylie Cosmetics these days,” another person said, referring to Jenner’s skincare line. “I do have to wonder if it’s because [Kylie Cosmetics] isn’t doing as well as she hoped.”

Meanwhile, someone joked, “I think even Kylie would do an ad for another makeup company if they paid her enough.”

The Positive Reviews of Kylie Cosmetics Products are ‘Suspicious’ According to Fans

Although Jenner did recently release a makeup collection featuring her sister Kendall, some people wonder if she is ready to move on to another business venture soon.

Last year, it was revealed that Jenner had applied for 16 trademark applications. TMZ reported that the mom of one was looking to trademark “Kylie” and “Kylie Jenner” for various goods, including baby products, hairstyling tools, liquor, energy drinks, restaurants, and cocktail lounges. Marie Claire also added to the list “furniture, home accessories; kitchenware; cookware; dining ware; food and drink products.”

For now, Jenner is focusing on expanding her beauty and skincare businesses, but it seems there is no telling where she will go next. The sky might just be the limit for the youngest Kardashian-Jenner sister.
