‘Farmer Wants a Wife’: Mitchell on Board for a Spinoff Featuring Him and Sydney
“Give the people what they want.” That was Mitchell Kolinsky’s response when a fan asked the Farmer Wants a Wife cast member if he’d be up for a spinoff focused on his relationship with Sydney Errera.
Mitchell and Sydney connected on ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ Season 2
Mitchell and Sydney found love on season 2 of the Fox reality show. And the relationship wasn’t just for the cameras. The construction worker from New Jersey is still with the first-generation farmer from Tennessee.
The couple have been dating for six or seven months, Sydney told Philly Voice. Though they’ve only recently gone public on social media, they haven’t been hiding things from those closest to them – they even attended her sister’s wedding together late last year.
“We’ve been going everywhere,” she said. “I don’t know why some people didn’t know we were together. I felt like it was so obvious. But yeah, I knew that he was going to pick me early on.”
While Sydney has not yet moved to Tennessee, she says she plans to relocate within the next year.
“And then, I don’t know. Who knows? Maybe he’ll propose to me,” she said.
Fans want to see more of the ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ couple
Mitchell and Sydney’s sweet romance charmed fans of Farmer Wants a Wife. Some are eager to see what’s next for the pair.
“You two need your own spinoff show!!!!!” one person commented on a May 21 post on Mitchell’s Instagram.
“I agree!” he replied.
“I’d be so excited to do another show with @sydneyerreraa,” he added in a follow-up comment.
Mitchell says this is ‘just the beginning’ of his and Sydney’s adventures
At this point, there’s no sign that a Farmer Wants a Wife spinoff is actually in the works. But whatever happens, Mitchell says he’s eager to experience life with Sydney.
“My girl, I’m so glad you came to the farm! Just the beginning of adventures with you cowgirl,” he captioned the Instagram post.
Sydney is equally smitten with Mitchell.
“Never thought this would be the way I would meet my forever person, but I’m so glad it was,” she wrote in a May 21 Instagram post. “@mitchkolo can’t wait till we’re back on the farm together.”
In another post, Sydney said she knew as soon as she saw Mitchell’s farm that he was the guy for her.
“The moment we pulled into the farm and I saw that old cabin I knew this place would be in my life for ever,” she wrote. “I don’t know how to describe what I was feeling but I know it felt right. We had early mornings doing farm work and late nights by the fire talking for hours.”
“The girls I met from this experience have changed my life and I will for ever be greatful for them,” she added. “Thank you to to everyone behind the camera who made it such a safe place for me so I could be my self and never feel a sense of judgement. I couldn’t imagined having a better experience while filming for #FarmerWantsAWife let alone finding someone so special.”
