Farrah Abraham hasn’t been a part of the MTV family for several years. The former Teen Mom star was fired after she opted to pursue a career in adult entertainment, which the production company, at the time, was vehemently against. Abraham has spent years insisting that she was happy she left the show. Now, she has revealed she did make a bid to be recast. In an Instagram Story, Abraham told her followers she tried to return to the series, but MTV shut down the idea. She claims the network rebuffed her because they don’t have the money to pay another cast member.
Abraham insists that the current cast of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter is underpaid. She went on to suggest that MTV is taking advantage of its talent by bringing in new cast members who are making substantially less than they are worth. Abraham did not elaborate on how much those cast members are making, how she knows the details of their contracts, or how much she sought from the network to rejoin the series. The story has since expired.
