‘It’s a Charlie Duncan Thanksgiving’ – ‘Good Luck Charlie’

As one of the few Thanksgiving-themed episodes on Disney Channel, “It’s a Charlie Duncan Thanksgiving,” features the Duncans hosting their own holiday for a change.

Normally, Amy is stuck working at the hospital and she wants to have a special day with her kids… and Mrs. Dabney… and Bob’s father. There’s also one big problem facing the rest of the Duncans — Amy is a horrible cook.

As a result, it’s up to PJ to do all the cooking but make it seem like Amy is doing the hard work. It’s not as easy as it sounds, though, especially with Teddy sneaking out and trying to buy discounted tech for Black Friday.

‘Boston Tea Party’ – ‘The Suite Life of Zack and Cody’

America started with a bunch of rebels, not unlike Zack, Cody, and the rest of their friends at the Tipton Hotel. The gang finds an old painting dating back to 13 Colonies-era America.

Zack decides to fall asleep instead of protest with his brother, he dreams of what life was like back then. Because this series takes place in Boston, it was only fitting that these characters participated in a reenactment of the Boston Tea Party.

London, as the rich owner of the “Tipton Inn,” wasn’t thrilled by the idea, but Zack learned a history lesson nonetheless.

‘Country Cousins’ – ‘That’s So Raven’

This isn’t exactly a Thanksgiving episode, but it does tell viewers a little about Raven Baxter’s extended family. Turns out, she has a whole family of cousins that she hasn’t seen since she was a child.

That’s because of an old feud about a gravy boat that Raven’s father apparently stole. To try to make things right, Raven and Chelsea head to the countryside and try their hand at working on the farm.

There are some mean tricks involving a scarecrow but at the end of the day, Raven finally reconnected with her aunt, uncle, and cousins.

There are plenty of other holiday-centered episodes of series’ like Hannah Montana, That’s So Raven, and Wizards of Waverly Place. (The Suite Life of Zack and Cody Halloween episode titled “The Ghost in Suite 613” is still iconic.)
