‘Flip or Flop’: Tarek El Moussa’s New Girlfriend Heather Looks A Lot Like His Ex-Wife Christina Anstead
It appears Tarek El Moussa has a type. Fans of the hit HGTV renovation show Flip or Flop are pointing out that El Moussa’s new girlfriend, Selling Sunset real estate agent Heather Young, could pass for Christina’s sister.
But everyone is happy for Tarek El Moussa who has remained publicly single since his split from Christina in 2016. Shockingly, the exes continued filming their show in the face of their very real break-up, plus of course kept co-parenting their children Taylor and Brayden.
Christina married British television producer and show host Ant Anstead in a surprise wedding ceremony last December, then announced she was pregnant a few months later. Fans couldn’t help but feel a little sorry for Tarek — but now it appears he’s found love again.
Tarek El Moussa didn’t mind being single
Though it seemed incredibly sad that Christina Anstead was so happy with new husband Ant while Tarek was alone, the 37-year-old real estate investor insisted he was fine. “I’m just kind of doing my own thing,” Tarek told Country Living in 2018. “I’m enjoying being single. I have a lot of friends. I go out and have a good time and focus on my kids and my career.”
But he’s not so single anymore. Instead of committing to full-time bachelorhood, Tarek is hooking up with a new woman who looks an awful lot like his ex-wife.
Tarek got caught canoodling on a yacht with Heather Young
News of their budding relationship broke when Heather and Tarek were spotted kissing while on a yachting excursion in Redondo Beach, California. Tarek El Moussa just recently made the official confirmation that they’re dating. And it all makes a whole lot of sense.
Tarek just got the green light for a new solo project with HGTV called Flipping 101 with Tarek El Moussa. The series aims to be instructive to “help first-time flippers learn the ropes, find the best property deals, and show them how to make the most profit on their investment.”
Meanwhile, Young’s Netflix series Selling Sunset focuses on the fine points of marketing real estate in the Los Angeles area.
Heather Young isn’t scared of Christina Anstead
Despite both being in new relationships, Tarek and Christina are still working together on Flip or Flop for now. But Heather isn’t worried about her new boyfriend spending time with his beautiful ex.
“I’m a really confident person and I’m confident in our relationship,” the 31-year-old reality star told Radar Online during an interview. “And I think what he does and everything he has going on is so amazing. I’m fully supportive of everything.”
It definitely helps that Christina Anstead, who is expecting her newest addition in a few weeks, seems so happy in her own relationship with Ant and their blended family. Breakups are hard, but these two clearly made the most of going their separate ways.
