‘Floribama Shore’: Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley Shares Her Thoughts on the Cast
Jenni “JWoww” Farley is one of the original Jersey Shore roommates. Considering how she and her Jersey Shore: Family Vacation co-stars are the recent recipients of MTV’s Reality Royalty Lifetime Achievement Award, who better to host the Floribama Shore reunion special than she and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi?
Showbiz Cheat Sheet spoke with Farley over the phone about hosting the Floribama Shore reunion special. Naturally, we had to ask about her thoughts on the cast. Here’s what “JWoww” has to say about the Floribama Shore roommates.
‘Floribama Shore’ Season 4 will conclude tonight
Farley and her Jersey Shore best friend “Snooki” will host the second half of the Floribama Shore reunion tonight on MTV. A first for the Floribama Shore roommates, the reunion forces the cast to look back on a season cut short by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Will Gus Smyrnios and Jeremiah Buoni finally put their feud to rest? Fans will have to tune in to find out.
‘JWoww’ loves the ‘Floribama Shore’ cast because they’re the ‘Jersey Shore’ cast ’12 years ago’
Ironically, Farley had not met any of the Floribama Shore roommates before filming the reunion special. “That was my first time meeting them all and man, do I love them,” she admitted to Showbiz.
“I never really thought I would say that, but they are us 12 years ago just trying to find their way,” the Reality Royalty recipient added. Like Jersey Shore, Floribama Shore put eight strangers in a house together for the summer. And like the cast of Jersey Shore, the roommates have formed a special bond no one can break.
Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley feels a ‘motherly’ connection to the ‘Floribama Shore’ cast
Having been in their shoes before, Farley says she felt “so motherly” with Nilsa Prowant, Aimee Hall, and the rest of the Floribama Shore roommates. “They were so freaking cute,” Farley said.
“All their drama makes me laugh because I’m like, ‘Oh my God, guys you’re so young. You have so much to live for.'”
And while their drama might seem trivial to Farley, she still gets it. “It’s that young drama that you forget about when you get older,” she explained. The kind of drama that makes Farley laugh now.
‘Jersey Shore’ cast are role models for the ‘Floribama Shore’ cast
Fans of Floribama Shore might see the similarities between that show and Jersey Shore. They’re both the brainchild of reality TV genius SallyAnn Salsano, so it makes sense that both shows feel similar.
Farley loves the fact that she could meet and connect with the Floribama Shore cast in doing the reunion. “I stay in touch with them all,” Farley told us. “I sent Aimee some tanning lotion because she wanted to try some, [and] I think Nicole sent Nilsa a baby seat.” Prowant gave birth to her son, Grayson, on May 20.
“We’ll forever keep in touch with them,” Farley concluded of her newfound friends. Many fans are happy to see the cast of the Shore shows getting along.
