Many of those questions center around Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s pregnancy. Not everyone is certain that Ken Urker, her current boyfriend, actually fathered her child. The timeline is tight but plausible.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard has packed a lot of action into the last seven months. The 32-year-old TV personality was released from prison, settled into her marriage, decided it wasn’t for her, initiated a divorce, rekindled a relationship with a past love, and is now expecting a baby. The new addition, which Blanchard will share with her boyfriend, Ken Urker, is expected to arrive in January 2025.
Blanchard shared the big news via YouTube after she insisted rumors that she was expecting had been swirling. She followed up the video with an Instagram announcement. In one of the announcement photos, Blanchard and Urker grin at the camera while holding a baby sweater. In another, the couple looks happy while presenting ultrasound pictures to the camera.
Fans question if Ken Urker is the baby’s father
Blanchard and Urker seem thrilled with their baby news, but followers have concerns. Several suspicious social media followers questioned Blanchard’s timeline, noting that the father of Blanchard’s baby may be estranged husband, Ryan Anderson, and not her current beau, Ken Urker.
Blanchard married Anderson while she was still behind bars. He was there to greet her upon her release, and the couple started their life together immediately. It didn’t take long for problems to arise. While the couple filmed a reality TV series together, their marriage crumbled. The duo announced their separation in April 2024. Days later, Blanchard was spotted out and about with Urker but insisted she and Urker were just friends. Later that month, they made it clear that things had gotten romantic.
Gypsy Rose responds to fan concerns
Blanchard’s followers might not feel certain that Urker has fathered her baby, but she says she is 100% sure of her child’s paternity. Blanchard appeared on Good Morning America on July 12 to discuss the baby news. She quickly shut down rumors that Ryan Anderson could be the father of her child.
Blanchard said that she and Ryan Anderson officially split at the end of March 2024. She went on to explain she had a complete menstrual cycle between the time she left Anderson and the time she hooked up with Urker again. She said she found out she was pregnant in late May after being intimate with only Urker.
While Blanchard’s timeline is tight, Urker is most likely the father of her baby. During her YouTube video, Blanchard said she was around 11 weeks pregnant, which would put the date of conception around late April, weeks after she and Anderson officially split up.
TMZ points out that Blanchard and Urker will be 100% certain of the child’s paternity when they welcome their baby in January. Regardless, a paternity test will be required to list Urker as the father. Since Blanchard is still a married woman, her legal husband is presumed the father of her child until a paternity test proves otherwise.
