Former ‘Basketball Wives’ Star, Draya Michele, Is Rumored to Be Dating Ryan Henry; Henry Responds
Former Basketball Wives star Draya Michele has been single for some time since her split with her longtime fiance Orlando Scandrick. The Mint Swim owner has been linked to other eligible bachelors, including NFL star Corey Coleman. But fans have been vying for Michele and famed tattoo artist, Ryan Henry, to make things official.

Michele and Scandrick began dating in 2014 and were engaged within two years. At the time, Michele was a cast member on Basketball Wives LA and their relationship was documented in early seasons of the show, with Michele admitting she’d never experienced a love like the one she shared with Scandrick. The couple also battled with co-stars who questioned their relationship. She left the show to focus on other career opportunities and her family.
Michele announced that she was expecting her first child with Scandrick in January 2016. Both had children from previous relationships. Their son, Jru, would make them a blended family of four.

The couple had a rocky relationship, with several breakups and makeups, including Scandrick allegedly getting a restraining order on Michele after a disagreement in which he accused her of throwing a candle at him. They later reconciled.
In a December 2019 interview with E! News Just The Sip, Michele revealed that she was not rushing down the aisle because she was committed to sorting out a prenuptial agreement to protect her million-dollar swimsuit and apparel line. She was also honest about her hesitation due to Scandrick’s unknown future in the NFL.
They split for good before the start of 2020, with Michele announcing the breakup on Instagram. Captured by The Shade Room, Michele made it clear to followers that she was unphased if Scandrick was dating anyone as they’d already split. The reason for their breakup is unknown.
Ryan Henry responds to rumors he’s dating Draya Michele after months of speculation
Shortly after her breakup with Scandrick, Michele was linked to another athlete, Corey Coleman. According to a fan submission sent into The Shade Room, the two were spotted getting cozy at a restaurant. The fan snapped a grainy photo of the two from afar, telling The Shade Room, “The dinner didn’t seem too romantic but it definitely looked like a date.” Coleman and Michele flirted on social media but it appears their relationship did not move forward.

Now, fans are certain that Michele is dating Henry, star of the vH1 reality series Black Ink Crew Chicago. Rumors about their relationship began when a Twitter user noticed Henry’s comments on Michele’s social media posts.
Henry spoke about his ties with Michele in a recent interview with Bossip, telling the outlet, “Me commenting on something, it might be an inside joke between me and another friend, you don’t know what our relationship is because they might be of notoriety and because you just don’t know about it yet—here comes the cancel culture or the gossip culture. I don’t’ know man.”
Henry’s answer doesn’t give a direct yes or no about he and Michele. Michele has not commented on her relationship with the tattoo artist.
