In the next few years, the actor will be featured in reboots of The Matrix and Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure. And he’s also rumored to be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a superhero for Phase 4.

Keanu Reeves stars as Neo in ‘The Matrix’
One of Reeves’ most popular films, The Matrix tells the story of Neo (Reeves), a man who discovers that his reality is a complete farce. After meeting Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) and Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss), Neo becomes self-aware and joins the fight against the strange forces that bind him.
‘The Matrix Reloaded’
In The Matrix Reloaded, Neo continues his quest alongside Trinity and Morpheus to fight the Machine Army and free the human race from the Matrix. The 2003 film is a sequel to The Matrix, which was released in 1999.
‘The Matrix Revolutions’
The third film in the series, The Matrix Revolutions finds Neo trapped in a limbo reality, while Morpheus and Trinity continue to fight their virtual enemies on the outside. For the freedom and liberation of the human race, Neo must escape and save them.

Starring Reeves, Jason Momoa, and Suki Waterhouse, The Bad Batch tells the story of a young woman who finds herself in the middle of a remote desert being attacked by a band of cannibals. She eventually finds refuge with a cult-like organization, led by Reeve’s character, The Dream. The 2016 film also stars Jim Carrey and Giovanni Ribisi.

The 2013 martial arts film, Man of Tai Chi is centered around a young martial artist (Tiger Chen) pressured to use his skills to join an underground fight club. In the movie, Reeves plays a mysterious villain, Donaka Mark.
‘The Lake House’
After their hit 1994 action film, Speed, Sandra Bullock and Reeves reunite in the 2006 romance, The Lake House. The movie tells the story of two strangers who lived in the same house at separate times. They begin to form a relationship through letters they leave in its mailbox, uncertain if they’ll ever meet in person.

The 2019 Netflix romantic comedy, Always Be My Maybe, follows childhood sweethearts Sasha (Ali Wong) and Marcus (Randall Park). When they reconnect as adults and attempt to rekindle their friendship, Sasha finds herself dating Reeves, who stars as himself.
‘The Watcher’
Reeves goes from an action hero to a serial killer in the 2000 thriller, The Watcher. The film follows a retired FBI agent’s hunt for a maniacal murderer who continues to stalk him. James Spader and Marisa Tomei also star.
