‘Frozen 2 :’ See The Cast (and Selena Gomez) Stun at the World Premiere
Disney’s world premiere of the highly-anticipated sequel, Frozen 2, was held on Nov. 7 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
Other stars joined the cast on the red carpet, too. Selena Gomez, 27, arrived with her little sister Gracie Teefy, 6, in matching Frozen-esque outfits. The sisters, stealing the show in their sequined- and feathered cape, walked the carpet hand-in-hand.
The cast looked stunning on the red carpet premiere
Frozen 2 stars Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel strutted the red carpet in shiny mauve and sleek white, respectively. Menzel plays Princess Elsa in the movie, while Bell voices the character of Princess Anna, Elsa’s sister.
Kristen Bell, 39, looked positively chilling in her burgundy Christian Dior gown with a keyhole cutout neckline. The gorgeous pleated skirt moved when did, the Daily Mail reported.
Meanwhile, Idina Menzel, 48, was ice cold in a wintry wonderland of a dress. The Galvan gown was adorned with sequins to make her sparkle all the more.
Jonathan Groff, who plays Kristoff in the film, stunned in a unique red suit.
Josh Gad, the voice of Olaf in Frozen 2, looked dapper in a maroon suit, a black button up shirt, and a black tie.
Westworld actress Evan Rachel Wood voices the character of Iduna, the princesses’ mother. Wood appeared at the premiere looking like a princess herself in a shimmery, semi-sheer Oscar de la Renta gown.
Sterling K. Brown arrived in his style with his wife, Michelle Bathe, and their two sons, ages 4 and 8. Brown was cast as the Frozen 2 character Mattias.
Jason Ritter voices the character Ryder. He looked sharp in a black suit.
Selena Gomez brings her matching little sister to the ‘Frozen 2’ premiere
Disney alum Selena Gomez and her little sister Gracie Teefy might have stolen the show on Nov 7. The sisters showed up at the Frozen 2 premiere in white dresses and floor-length sequined gray cloaks, their necks lined with feathers.
“Hope I’m officially the best big sissy ever now.. she was LIVING her best life!!” Gomez said about her little sister in an Instagram caption.
‘Frozen 2’: the movie’s release date to the public is Nov. 22, 2019
While little Gracie got to see the sequel before most of us peasants, the Scandinavia-inspired sequel opens in all theaters on Nov. 22.
Frozen 2 directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck spilled secrets earlier in 2019 to Entertainment Weekly, saying that the sequel to the blockbuster original film will explore how Elsa got her powers. While they can’t reveal “whether they solve the mystery of the past or whether Elsa ever finds the answers about her powers,” they did say the sequel is going to be quite an adventure.
“Frozen 2 is even bigger and more epic, but most importantly, in the end, Frozen 1 and Frozen 2 work together to form one complete story,” Buck said.
