‘Frozen:’ What Are Elsa and Anna’s Zodiac Signs?
These two sisters are pretty different, especially when it comes to their birthdays. However, it’s what they can do together that saves their kingdom and inspires Disney fans across the globe.
Here’s what we know about Anna and Elsa from Frozen’s actual and fan-predicted zodiac signs, based on their birthdays.
When are Anna and Elsa’s birthdays? What are their official zodiac signs?
Although it’s never mentioned in the original Frozen, (Elsa later throws a birthday party for Anna during Frozen Fever,) fans have a pretty good idea of Elsa and Anna’s respective birthdays. That’s all thanks to Jennifer Lee, the screenwriter and the director behind this award-winning animated film.
“For all who’ve asked, here’s an exclusive: Elsa was born on the Winter Solstice and Anna on the Summer Solstice,” Lee tweeted of these characters.
That means that Elsa was born around Dec. 21, making her a Saggitarius. For the summer solstice, Anna was born around June 21, making her a Gemini-Cancer cusp. Sagittarius sun signs, just like Elsa, are known for being adventurous and free-spirited.
For Anna, who would exhibit signs of both a Gemini and a Cancer, her search for true love and her huge heart totally makes sense. Birthdays aside, some fans took it upon themselves to guess these characters’ zodiac signs based on their personalities.
Some say Elsa is a Virgo
Although fans know Elsa’s actual birthday and zodiac sign, some think that she exhibits traits of other sun signs. Because of her attention to detail, both in her ice sculptures and her life, some think she could be a Virgo.
According to My Sign Says, “this snow queen is a total Virgo. With her extreme self-control and tendency to be hard on herself, Elsa shows some of the worst, most self-sabotaging traits of this Zodiac sign. However, her strength and attention to detail also help her run an entire country.”
These Virgo traits do come in handy, though, especially when it comes to keeping her kingdom and her sister safe. In Frozen 2, though, Elsa makes a decision that’s best for both Arandelle and herself — making Anna the queen.
Fans agree that Anna holds some Gemini traits
Her love for her sister is always constant, but sometimes, that loyalty can almost be stubborn, especially when Elsa is trying to get to Ahtohallan during Frozen 2. According to some websites, Anna’s personality could totally mean that she’s either a Gemini or a Cancer.
My Sign Says writes, “like all Geminis, Anna talks too much for her own good. Elsa’s sister from Frozen is quick-witted and a little bit indecisive. She also lets her own enthusiasm carry her into scary situations, like falling for the wrong dude.”
